JBL GO2 - Waterproof Ultra Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Blue

I have a LG V60 cell phone with a QUAD DAC amplifier that only works with 3.5 mm port. Having the option to use the 3.5 mm for audio is the main reason I got the JBL GO2 and not the newer versions which don't have the 3.5 mm port. I like that you can still use the JBL while it's charging too. A big plus when we were on the deck for hours++ listening to music , podcast and watching videos on the laptop on the deck. Great little speaker for the price. The 3.5 mm jack was the selling point for me because I can't take advantage of the QUAD DAC amplifier on my phone through bluetooth it needs to be through the wired 3.5 mm jack. Bluetooth works very good as well with this speaker. When watching youtube videos the audio is synced up to match the lips of the person/s talking. Overall a very well built little speaker and can handle max volume without sounding muddy or harsh abrasive sandpaper sound. Using the QUAD DAC on my phone through a 3.5 mm male to male cable is a pretty substantial sound difference in volume and quality since it takes advantage of the LG V60s (cell phone) built in QUAD DAC amplifier. Bluetooth as well sounds very good through this speaker. The 3.5 mm was the selling point for me over the newer models. Why they removed the 3.5 mm on newer models is a surprise to me. I imagine if I had the right cables and a stereo splitter I could get two JBL GO2 speakers and use them in true stereo mode utilizing the 3.5 mm jack. Having that option and bluetooth is a huge bonus for me. Also on the rare occasions blue tooth may be finicky you can always turn off blue-tooth on your device , say your laptop and just plug in the JBL GO2 to your Laptops 3.5 mm audio port and get direct sound that way with no lag guaranteed. I will say the bluetooth though on the JBL GO2 is pretty flawless with no noticeable lag. Overall a very good little speaker that puts out a respectable amount of sound.

I have purchased off brand mini speakers over the years to use in my office and they have been subpar. They were good enough to enjoy music while I was there and that was about it. I stumbled upon this name brand speaker while looking through Amazon deals the other day. I read the reviews, watched a few Youtube reviews and decided to give it a shot. I am blown away by the sound quality. Make no mistake, this would not replace a large speaker by any means. However, given the size, it went well above my expectations. The ranges are clear and crisp and the bass hits really well. It works perfect for a single room, like a bed room, office, etc. For the price, size and quality, I don’t think you can beat it. The small size means it’s easier to move from room to room or take outside for outdoor activities. The fact that it’s waterproof was a huge selling point as well. While I don’t intend on using it in the shower, it’s good to know it could be used without moisture damage. This is my first JBL product and I would definitely purchase another JBL product based off of this one. Update 4/16: I purchased the Go 3 and there is a huge sound difference. The sound quality in the Go 3 is so much better than the Go 2. I believe normally they are the same price. I would definitely go for the Go 3. Even on sale with a $10 difference, I would still recommend the Go 3.

Great speaker! Volume Quality is Awesome for its size and very balanced NOT bass heavy

The JBL GO2 really impressed me. For such a tiny speaker, the sound is clear and surprisingly full, with more bass than I expected. It’s small enough to toss in a bag, totally waterproof, and perfect for the pool, garage, or travel. Bluetooth connects instantly, the battery lasts a full day of casual listening, and it feels solidly built. It’s not meant to fill a big party with sound, but for personal use or hanging out with a few friends, it’s perfect. I use it mostly as an external speaker for my small QRP radios during Ham Radio activities. Pros...Clear sound, waterproof, very portable Cons...Not super loud for large spaces Overall, a great little speaker that’s way better than its size suggests.

Wir benötigten einen kleinen Lautsprecher für die Sommertage auf der Terrasse ... dieses kleine Teil ist sein Geld in jedem Fall wert! Die Bluetooth-Verbindungen funktionieren astrein, der Sound ist spitze, die Box ist handlich und sieht gut aus. Wir laden die Box 1 mal in der Woche auf ... sie läuft maximal 3 Stunden am Tag. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung von uns!

Necesitaba un altavoz mas pequeño y llevable. Ya tenia otro JBL y queria uno de la misma marca. Este es perfecto. Se escucha super bien para lo pequeño q es. Super llevable y comodo de conectar.

Amazing sound quality and easy to operate.

Si rimane stupiti, davvero! E' davvero incredibile lo stupore e la meraviglia che si prova nel sentire suonare questo "piccoletto" di casa JBL. Alti cristallini, medi equilibrati e bassi nitidi, compatti e potenti. Il volume c'è; anzi, si rimane stupiti anche per quello. Dalla musica classica al rock più duro, non teme rivali all'ascolto. A questoi si aggiunge l'impareggiabile rapporto tra il prezzo e la portabilità; elemento quest'ultimo da non trascurare. Se volete sentire dell'ottima musica contenendo gli spazi e ovunque vi portino i votri piedi, beh... avete trovato quello che fa per voi. N.B: Non dimenticate di comprare la custodia: leggera, ecoomica e indispensabile.
