It broke on the first time I used it
Didnt really apply brute force on it, being fishing loke 10 years already, with appropriate line rating / drag, it just break. Really cannot believe shimano will be like this.

Snapped within a week!
I love the size, and the faction of the rod. Bought it to fish on holiday. However, after a couple of sessions it just snapped in two places when casting a 15g lure (I had the 2.7m 10-30g model). I wasn’t even casting far, I had not dropped or knocked the rod on anything, just a normal smooth cast and …SNAP!!! From other reviews I have read this seems to be a common fault. Shame really, because I liked everything about this rod, but pointless if it’s going to just snap for no reason. I would have given 4 stars or 4.5 if it was not for the rod snapping.

Shockingly weak, snapped on first use
A few casts with a very small Dexter wedge. The lure snagged in a mussel so I gave it a tiny pull with the rod up. Standard practice and it snapped near the but section. Amazingly feeble construction. I'm glad I didn't catch a fish as it would probably have snapped it anyway. A £15 telescopic would have done the job far better. Until o get to try another my advice would be do not buy... If you do, then fort god's sake don't hook any fish! Not happy.
