Works as advertised, good replacement for original (TJ)
Worked great with my MC 3.5” lifted TJ. I needed a stock height pitman arm after some genius had installed a dropped one. Going back to stock fixed my bump-steer issues. Make sure your track bar and drag link run paralel / on the same plane after lifting your Jeep.

More or less like OEM....
Fits as advertised. The splines fit on the steering shaft bit tight at first so you should expect to exert some effort getting the pinion nut to seat properly and securely. I think I torqued the nut to almost 250 ft/lb to get it adequately seated.

Good factory replacement
After lifting my 2000 TJ 5.5" I installed the provided pitman drop. After the lift steering was a problem, I had a lot of bump steer and when accelerating or decelerating the steering wheel pulled from one site to the other. I changed the drop pitman with this one and it fixed my steering problems. It is heavy duty and appears to closely match the factory one. I have not had any problems with it

Good quality
Good quality pitman arm, I mean, it's just a pitman arm. For those that are ocd like myself and noticed that this one does not go on the spline high enough, that's normal as this has less of a taper than others. You will likely not see multiple threads showing and the nut will be pretty flush with this omix brand. Be sure it's torqued and the lock washer is on and it will be fine.

Good price and does the job
I have a 98 TJ with a 4" lift and when that lift was put on, they added a drop pitman arm. As the jeep is older, I recently replaced the steering and right after I felt the death wobble I had not dealt with in 15 years. The drop pitman arm did not seem to work with my new steering so I replaced it with this OEM style one. So far so good, no more wobble and the steering is good.

Fits like a... New pitman arm.
Not much to say really... It's a pitman arm. Had to get a new one when I replaced the steering box on my 1998 Wrangler, since getting the old one off of the old box was impossible. Probably better that I got a new one anyway. 4WD Hardware shipped quickly, and I had it in 3 days. Price was right. No complaints here!

Surprised how often people install dropped pitman arms on lifted ...
Surprised how often people install dropped pitman arms on lifted Wranglers. My TJ had a drop with a 4" lift and it was definitely not necessary. Make sure your track bar and your drag link are parallel and travelling through the same arc. Installed this arm to replace the dropped pitman arm and it make a very positive difference. Didn't realize how much bump steer there was until I replaced it.

Matches the pitman arm lying on my garage floor.
Dimensions that matter all appear to match my factory unit. If you can see this review, it went on fine. (Or I'm a corpse under my Jeep)
