I don’t have a book shelf but this looks like a book so it’s good for hiding stuff in plain sight. Easy to use and great quality… if someone knew it was a tiny safe they could just take it with them though that’s the only thing

Authentic over, love the dated colour, good inner workings, straightforward sturdy lock. Good size for notes. Looks like a book of interest on shelf mixed in with selection.

Disguise.
The reason for purchasing the book safe was to hide in plane sight. The book title was themed with other books so as not to stand out. The sides of the book very realistic look and feel of real pages. The lock is not needed a thief would just take the book once shaken therefor disguise is its real purpose.

It's cool but not for serious hiding
It's so good that I even forgot I have it until Amazon nudged me to review it! It works but definitely not for larger sums of money, it's kind of easy to notice that it isn't a book, but nice try, I use it for important documents only.

Recommend! Best Combination Book Safe Ever
Received this item on time and in good condition. It is very easy to set your own 3 digit code for the safe; as well, it is easy to re-set the combination to a new one, if it becomes necessary. The size of the book safe is quite large which allows you to fit in two passports as well as foreign currency. This 'book' safe blends in amazingly well with the other books in its bookcase. I placed it among other books of the same height in the reference section. I definitely recommend this item as well as the seller. PS: If you want to camouflage the 'book' even more, select a dust cover from another similarly sized book and it is even more of a diversion. I believe that you will be happy that you have bought this book safe.
