Q: Even though these have the pex fittings are they also threaded 3/4 fnpt in the inside ends of the valve ?

So the valve itself has male NPT threads on both sides and the pex adapters come with female NPT threads that thread into the males with gasket seals inside. Does this make sense ? I could attach an installation video if that helps. Thanks for reaching out.

Q: Is this oem Zurn and not a knockoff?

As far as I can tell, it's a genuine Zurn. Of course, anything can be counterfeited, but it's identical to the one my plumber installed a year ago that's right next to it (I'm using both for different branches). Same numbers and markings in the casting, same tag hanging off the adjustment bolt.

Q: Is this lead free suitable for potable water?

It came broken to me and I don’t have the option to return it!!
