Healthfuls Sweet Potato Slices Healthy Dog Treats – Limited Ingredient, Grain Free, Made from Real Dried Sweet Potatoes, 16 oz

I read that dogs love sweet potatoes as treats. I decided to try them on my granddaughter’s darling Shihpoo, Aleia. She’s a very picky eater so I’m always looking for treats that she will love. What a surprise I got when I gave her HEALTHFULS Sweet Potato Slices Dog Treats! She LOVES THEM. They come in slices that look like they’re made for a large dog, so I took my kitchen food scissors and cut them into smaller pieces that Aleia could handle. Their color is a beautiful orange and you can tell they are sweet potatoes—just a bit soft enough for a dog to get the joy of biting into them but not have to work very hard to eat them. She went through those treats! She knew where they were kept and would stand in front of the drawer when she wanted them. The best thing was that they were good for her! A really HEALTHFUL treat.

The slices are full size and I use heavy duty scissors to cut them into smaller pieces. Slices are nice and bright, bendable by hand, difficult to tear or cut. This is not a crunchy treat, but a good firm chewy treat.

VERY pleased to have found these! Wanted something to offer Mookie as a "special treat" (a step up from Milkbones, but NOT long-lasting) that was healthy and easily digestible. He wasn't sure what to make of them at first... they're fairly soft and a little chewy, and they just smell like FRESH sweet potatoes -- not any fake meat or seasoning. Once he started chewing, however, he got very excited about the new treat, and now when he hears the bag being handled/opened, he comes running and does his little happy dance! We'll be keeping these on hand because the quality and reasonable price - combined with the LACK of tummy distress and his enjoyment - make this a "go-to" special reward.

The only con is the price but other than that it is a good quality product and has a long shelf life. One of my dogs loves them (also has a lot of allergies to various foods) and the other doesn't really like them. IF your dog likes sweet potatoes then this is a good product.

My ShihTzu loves these sweet potato slices. And are good for him . Great treat

My little terrier loves them. He is missing most of his teeth, but the slices are soft enough for him to enjoy, and chewy enough to last him a while. No signs of any GI upset, so I say they appear OK. I would definitely supervise your dog with these (as I would with any treat) in case the chewiness is a choke hazard.

My dog is quite obsessed with these treats and I appreciate that they are healthy sweet potato with no junk additives. Easy for my dog to digest and chewy so it keeps her entertained (at least for a couple minutes lol). Great value for money and has been fresh every time I’ve bought them.
