The Silver and Silk have an equal melting temperature, but the Silver has 3x more nutrients, some of which are water-soluble, not fatty soluble and they do not melt but can be dissolved if there is sufficient moisture. The remnant of a suppository leaking out is not a true suppository. It is a ghost shell that is not dissolved. these cannot be absorbed anyway and you did not lose anything valuable. You can overcome this by cutting one suppository into two halves and use one half every 2 days. Refrigerating it in advance helps to cut.
