Second time I've purchased this, heat for making Chinese chicken boas

Contents seemed good quality but dangerous as the jar smashed when I was spooning out some. Very poorly formed jar and very thin at the bottom ended up putting glass in my marinade which meant I had to throw it away and wasted an entire jar!

It arrived in a jar that was sticky and stained with a lot of crusty old sauce around the lid. The plastic sleeve that goes around the lid was still in place, but there's no vacuum lid-popper to check if it's been opened already. Seeing as the bubble wrap pouch was clean, I can only imagine the jar had leaked prior to packaging.

Excited to receive the item so I could start making my barbecue pork but the jar arrived broken leaving my house like a crime scene with a trail of "blood marks" everywhere. I saw another buyer with a similar experience but I thought maybe they were just unlucky but here I am with a broken jar. I can't possibly return this and don't know if I can get a refund. Disappointed.
