Batman Beyond: The Complete Series

We’re talking “Theme song will get stuck in your head” levels, man! I love this series and really hope they don’t ruin it with a live action version staring that hack Michael Keaton. I don’t know what anyone sees in him. He’s great as a guy playing a panda in the land of make-believe. And as that one guy on that one thing. But that’s it. He’s the worst Batman. But thankfully, he has nothing to do with this set. Which means people who actually like the character will love this show. And good lord! More Guest stars than “The Tonight Show”. Even George Lazenby and Bernie Casey show up! But yes, buy this set and boost your cartoon street cred. That shelf of Animie isn’t gonna get that date to drink your drugged glass of apple juice. With Batman Beyond, you don’t need the drugs. It’s instant aphrodisiac! Fighting crime in a future time. Oh, sorry. That’s COPS. Man, that was an example of great concept, bad execution, Amiright? Yeah. So buy this. The end.

If you were one of the people snoozed at first to own the original animated series don’t snooze on this one! Fortunately I was still able to snag one but it cost me a bit extra to get the whole series. Now that being said this series is great! If you liked the original series stop reading this review and just click the order button. You won’t regret it. Worth the money. It’s Batman, it’s futuristic and fun, more importantly it’s Kevin Conroy!! This special edition came with a cool funko pop, some nice art stills, the digital codes, and of course Batman Beyond plus the standalone animated movie that followed the series. Perfect for any Batman fan of any age.

An amazing Blu-ray of one of my favorite childhood cartoons. I really loved Batman Beyond it was one of my favorite shows as a kid even though it didn't get long run it had a lot of quality and standout episodes. This is one of the best full series box sets I've ever gotten. It's definitely worth the money if you're a fan. Please find helpful if you also like myself believe that Terry McGinnis is the true heir to the Batman mantle. Forget about Damien. Lol

Loved Batman Beyond and watched it every night when I was younger! Once I found out about this limited edition complete series I bought it on the spot. The box is well made and includes the complete Batman Beyond series, the movie return of the joker, some art inside a plastic bag and the black metallic batman beyond pop. It also comes with the digital edition which you'll redeem on Vudu and then connect it to Movies Anywhere. The only problem is that for some reason you can't watch the series on movies anywhere but you can watch the movie just fine (using my tv).

My wife and I (no kids, no judgement) initially saw the series on TV a number of years ago, the nostalgia got the better of us and we bought the series. It holds up well and the take on an older, mentor Bruce Wayne was a great way to re-introduce a newer, more high tech batman story. The box set is great, the prints are really cool and while I am not a Funko Pop fan, It looks great for the character if you are into collecting them.

I have a question and information about Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. Question: Does the Blu-ray disc come included with all of the *special features* for Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker in "The Complete Series: Deluxe? On the back of the standalone Blu-ray show's it comes with the following Special Features: • commentary by the filmmakers • featurette Batman beyond: the legend lives • animations tests • Mephisto Odyssey crash music video featuring Static-X • animated character BIOS Digital Copy: I can confirm you can activate your Digital Copy on Vudu for a HDX version on Vudu for the entire 52 Episodes as well as The Return of Joker (77 minutes long). (I believe Fandango Now was a option but can't remember.) 😢 But sadly I can confirm that Digital Copy on Vudu doesn't activate a digital copy for any of the special features such as celebrating the Dark Knight's 80 years: nostalgic tomorrow - a Batman gathering, and Knight immortal. Information: I can confirm the Blu-ray disc is the same black artwork on the disc in the "The Complete Series: Deluxe Limited Edition" and "The Complete Series: Standard Edition" as well as the "Standard Blu-ray" based on watching different unboxing videos on YouTube and unboxing my own Deluxe Limited Edition.

Before buying this, I was wondering if I had to buy The Return of the Joker as a separate purchase. I assumed it wasn't included but after just opening it I discovered it in there! That's a nice surprise! Also, the Pop figure is a updated version of the original Terry McGuinness Pop. Nice seeing it being redone and better. The digital code expires 12/31/2020 so if you're on the fence about this, might want to jump on quick. The only digital option is Vudu as of this review. That links to Movies Anywhere for the movie but not sure what's the easiest ways to watch the TV show just yet.

The English version is pants apparently (read other reviews an you will find out) so get this one it has all items on blu ray disks extras are cool. BUT you cannot download the digital version as you have to be in America using an American streaming site. Just rip them instead.

Es una edición muy bonita, limitada por lo que se ve en la caja a 50,000 piezas. Es una muy, muy buena adición a la colección. Batman Beyond fue una serie muy buena en su tiempo. El Funko está muy bonito y trae 4 tarjetas lenticulares. No tiene subtítulos en español ni está en español latino el doblaje, solamente inglés, considérenlo si lo creen como un inconveniente.

La calidad de video y audio de los episodios es bastante buena. El material adicional de comentarios es interesante para aquellos que son fans de la serie. El único detalle que puede ser que a algunos nos le agrade mucho es el hecho que el audio y subtítulos solo vienen en inglés y francés; nada en español.
