ShoyeidoSitting Zen Incence, 30 CT

Nothing fancy or exotic but a pleasing scent in a long thick stick that will last through a long sit and fill a big room. However the sticks are so long that twice in a row they arrived broken in multiple places because the boxes were shipped in paper or plastic envelopes that were folded or crushed. They were not marked “crushable” or “breakable” or anything.

Honestly the lightest of all the Shoyeido scents even though it is a large stick. Very pleasant, airy and unique; lasting quality after burn as well. I am a die-hard Autumn Leaves user and this is a remarkable complex counter to that woodier, starker scent.The best incense maker/brand available state-side; highly recommend.

Mine arrive perfectly fine. Though any one complaining they are too big can easily just break them into the size they want.I like these because they are wood. Once I get an idea on how fast it burns. I will be breaking them into the sizes for those session. Will last a long time.Another one I order from this brand had broken pieces but was fine. They produce a lot of scent for just a short time. Don’t need it to burn forever to keep it in the room. It stays awhile after.As go scent, these are legit. Maybe no be for everyone but these scents have a very soothing affect yet able to keep awareness to meditate.

Great incense, it is very light. I used to use incense from Earthbound, but now I cannot go back. The incense from Earthbound seem to assault your senses after using this very delicate incense.Is it more expensive? Yes, but the incense sticks are large and last much longer than typical sticks.

It burns well for a nice long time. To me personally, the scent is ok.

Smell

These are wonderful, I use them every day, but they are very fragile like all Japanese incense. They need to be packed properly.
