Golden Star beauty, I’m in LOVE with this self-tanner! I rarely use self-tanner, but have started to more with the immense heat as a safer option to the sun. I tan very easily but I usually tan on my arms and my legs don’t match. I used the Medium-Dark shade Vince I am already like an olive tone, and I LOVE IT! I loved it so much on my legs that I used for arms and chest and it looks sooo natural. The scent when you apply smells like coconut, not crazy powerful but very nice, and it’s dried down to a very minimal self tan scent. Nothing off-putting. I also love that this comes with the glove, it’s so soft and makes it so easy to apply. I feel like most brands nowadays sell brushes and gloves separate, and I love that this brand thought about the best option for the customer. They were so pleasant to do business with and I will be telling all my friends about it and using this as a go-to from now!

Let me start by saying I am a professional spray tan enthusiast, and this stuff is good. I was leery because at the time I purchased my first bottle the reviews looked faked and staged. I mainly use this on my legs, chest and arms. It’s not a gradual, have to use 5 days like the Jergens lotions to actually start seeing a difference. When I put this on at night after a bath, I wake up looking like I got a nice dark spray tan. The mitt is also amazing so you don’t have to worry about Your cuticles yellowing or getting orange. The mitt isSuper soft and smooth and washes really well if you throw it in the wash machine. I’ve also noticed that this doesn’t stain your clothes like spray tans do. I do not put it on my face though because I have a sensitive, acne prone face and it’s taken my years to fine tune my skin care routine, that doesn’t make me break out. I did notice that when I put it on my neck, I think I got it on my jaw line and I did break out a little. Not sure if this was the cause but that was the only thing I did different. If you don’t have an acne prone face you might be the lucky one that can also use it on face.

I have barely any natural tan seeing as I haven’t been outside much this winter. I have tried tanning mousses, sprays and lotions before, but never a lotion that isn’t already tinted like this one. You apply to a dry, exfoliated and shaved skin with the mitt and it is SO easy to spread and blend. I think my favorite aspect of this product is how easy it was to apply, and that there are ZERO streaks or patchiness (with proper prep on knees/ankles etc). I have always been turned off by the scent of self tanners but this one isn’t too bad. Upon application it smells like cake batter to me (a scent I’ve noticed in other tanning lotions). However, there still is that “fake tan” smell afterwards on your bedding and clothing BUT it is not as strong or lingering as I normally find. Added plus. There is barely any immediate color but the next morning after night application, I had such a nice soft warmth to my skin. Nothing to dark and nothing too obvious. However, I personally think my skin tone would be better suited with a darker tan. I think this would be great for paler skin tones. After my first shower, there was some runoff but nothing crazy like with a typical tanning mousse. My biggest concern is that the tan doesn’t last super long. The first and second day look good, but the third day I barely noticed it. I’m not the kind to apply every night so I would prefer someone more long lasting. However, this would be good for when you only need the tan for a specific day. I also would note that the physical amount of lotion won’t last as long as a mousse of the same size which could be annoying if you apply often. Lastly, I LOVE the texture on the mitt. It is so soft and I like the thumb piece as it helps getting the product spread evenly.

This product makes you dark the first few times, after you shower it goes away and then your pale again. Is not a tan that stays on u for a few weeks. It washes away quickly. That's not what I want. I want a tan that will last for weeks and weeks. I did apply almost every day and hours after I showered and it still went away when i showered. I wanted a tan that will last & not go away. It's good for an instant tan. And I also didnt get really dark like how i wanted to be.

First, let me just say that a lot of these reviews look like they were paid for.I’ve used quite a few different tanners, so my review is not based off of user error— I followed all the instructions and generally know what I’m doing with this sort of thing.My favorite was banana boat, but they changed their formula and I decided to try something different. I can honestly say this is the worst sunless tanner I’ve ever tried. The scent is so, SO strong I can’t handle it. The moisturizer is pretty thick, too thick, but I’ve used thick tanners before and am pretty skilled at applying it evenly and gradually fading the color out in certain spots by patting the excess lotion outward. However, when I woke up the next morning after applying the night before, my skin was patchy, and the areas that I had “patted out” to make look natural were JUST AS DARK as the areas where I applied a solid layer (this hasn’t happened with any other brands). Not to mention, this lotion made my skin uncomfortably dry, excessively dry, and it is NOT gradually fading. Instead, it’s disappearing in little patches. It is the most BIZARRE thing I’ve ever experienced with sunless tanner. Every time I rub my skin on something, brown comes off. I applied this stuff three days ago and it’s coming off onto my clothes and what not. I hate this and will never buy it again. Please don’t purchase this.
