So far, it's as expected. This is one of the cheaper lights I've seen. I don't expect a whole lot from it, but it's easy to install and is decent looking.First, I'm disappointed that it doesn't have holes for a standard light box or ceiling box. They could have easily drilled holes for a standard machine screw, even had slots for the "twist fit" machined in. However, there are 3 screws that are required on the full outside rim of the framy of the light. Which means, if you get smaller than 8" in the future you'll need to fill the holes in.Second, they cut about 1/8" off the insulation of the wires and tinned them. Totally pointless, and difficult deal with if you don't know what's going on. Cut off the tips about 1/4 down into the insulation and start over. There's no need for tinning on 120v.Third, and the reason why my rating is high... brightness! Idk if it's the advertised lumens rating, but I have 2 of these lights on each end of a 20' long hallway and there's plenty of light. I have 2 closets that are 6x12 and one in the middle is enough.Another dislike is that the cover twists onto the frame. It's kinda weird. I guess better than clipping on, or using friction, still weird.There's the instructions so you can fully understand what you're getting into. 3 screws and 3 sheetrock inserts included for each lamp. Simple.

These lights were easy to install. I replaced some regular old incandescent light fixtures with these. They are an LED light. The light looks great but the whole thing is plastic. I thought that the Brushed Nickle ring would be metal and the globe made out of glass. Nope! All plastic. The brightness of the light is good. It is almost a soft light and not the normal white light that you see with most LED light fixtures. I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that it is all plastic. Otherwise, it is a good looking light fixture.

I purchased these to replace our outdated hallway ceiling lights. It was very hard to find LED lights less than a 1000 lumens so these were it plus the price was significantly less that others.Pros: Looks good after the challenging installation processVery bright lights. A little too bright.Cons: Made extremely cheap and mounting holes don't line up so you have to make your own.I probably would not buy these again.

First of all, one light had copper strands the other had grey ones. The copper one had firmer strands and was easier to work with. No caps are included either. Finally, these lights are not bright enough. I installed both in my 10×12 closet and it's just not enough light

These are by far the "cheapest" light fixtures I have ever had the misfortune to buy. The plastic lens look much better on the listing than in person. The "cheaply" made product is not even worth the time it takes to examine it. Never again.

I expected cheap lights but the whole thing is a cheap thin plastic with a thin metal base. The real concern is that the wires look cheap too. I was a bit scared to use them because the wiring didn't look reliable.

I bought 8 of them to switch all the lights in the kitchen and hallway. Within a month 1 had already busted. Could no longer return it because my return window passed. Hopefully the rest will last longer. For almost $17 not sure they are worth it. Back 2 days after writing the original review and there is another busted. Now there are 2 not working

Was a little skeptical for the price, but they do the job. Plastic all the way around but perfect for a hall way or stair well. Very bright.
