We used these sticks for marshmallows, hot dogs, brauts and even pre-cooked breakfast sausages. No matter what you put on these, nothing falls off. Was afraid they would break or not be able to withstand the heat from the fire but these sticks proved me wrong. They were able to withstand the heat for several days. To get the marshmallow residue off, we just stuck them back over the fire to burn the excess off then once cool, wiped them clean. These came with a nice bag to keep them in and that is exactly where they went back to. Great for kids and adults to use. The handle is really comfortable to hold and with this set coming with 12, there was enough for everyone to have their own stick.

We love going camping and roasting marshmallows over a fire. Somehow I always forget to find some roasting sticks. I saw these telescoping ones and figured they would be easy to keep in our camping gear. They arrived in a carry bag too so they can all be together and ready to go. They were individually packaged and each one has its own color so the kids won’t fight over whose is whose. With twelve of them we have enough to share with friends and since they are small they don’t take up a lot of space. They telescope out pretty far so it’s easy to relax by the fire while roasting marshmallows or hot dogs. The points are flat, not pointy so they are not as dangerous as some others I have seen.

I ordered these, as I was responsible for providing dessert at an outdoor party. Since I knew that we would have a fire in a firepit, I opted to bring the ingredients for all to make S'mores. These telescoping forks are the best ever! They are color-coded, so no one got their sticks mixed up, and they are sturdy and telescope out a perfect length! No burnt fingers! Since they are two-pronged, they held the marshmallows well, with little sacrifice to the fire gods. They would also be great for hot dogs, or anything else held over an open flame. I am very pleased with my purchase, and the other party guests were impressed as well!

We needed a lot of marshmallow/hotdog sticks for a birthday party and figured at this price, we wouldn't be too upset if they only made it through the one use. The different colored parts made it easy for kids to keep track of which stick was theirs. Believe it or not, these sticks are pretty good quality! They shrink down for convenience, and I honestly like them a lot more than the ones we bought at the hardware store that cost more. You can't put a ton of weight on them, but they're for hotdogs and marshmallows. There's no reason to be putting heavy stuff on them. I think a few disappeared at the party, so I might buy s'more.

We purchased these because we were hosting a bonfire for our daughter's 16th birthday. The roasting stick withstood the intense heat from the fire, the rough kids playing, and more. They were also easy to clean. We will be using them again during this weekends Harvest Festival.

Okay, I read through the reviews and saw that these were getting great reviews mixed with a lot of bad ones. I didn't want to spend too much on something that we were just going to be using here and there so I got these. We roasted all different kinds of marshmallows and these held up so well. After we were done I stuck the used ones in a tall glass with a water level that covered the burnt stuck on areas (and some dish soap) and by the morning they were all so easy to clean and now can be reused! I am unsure about holding the weight of a hotdog as we have not attempted that yet, but they were overall pretty sturdy from a decent distance and I do believe a hotdog would hold up. From the longest setting maybe not? I am unsure. Would recommend!

These worked out really well! My daughter wanted a beach bonfire for her birthday and what bonfire is complete without roasting?! I was looking for something that would work for both hot dogs and marshmallows and these worked great! I found them sturdy enough to hold the weight of hot dogs while fully extended. The tips were easy to clean off the sticky marshmallow residue after letting them soak in some hot, soapy water for a bit. Everyone loved that they are color coded so they didn’t get mixed up, and the wooden handles stayed cool to the touch during use. I love that they come with a drawstring bag for easy storage. Very happy with these!

We live in the city but often have “sidewalk s’mores” using a small restaurant table style cast iron flame holder. We go through many skewers with all the neighborhood kids. I had been meaning to keep something more reusable around the house and these are perfect with the colored bands to keep everyone’s “stick” straight. They don’t feel super sturdy so I do wonder how long they will hold up.
