what is the interior of the pitcher?

It's stainless steel - like the outside.

I purchased the "capresso froth select automatic milk frother". it screeches and the disc comes off while operating. what should i do?

I use this to make hot chocolate and it does get louder, I guess you could call it screeching, toward the end, but the disc does not come off.

Does this stir the hot chocolate to make it creamy?

Yes it does!! This machine actually works and is easy to operate!!

Can replacement disks be ordered?

They should be. You should call their customer service. However, under the unit are 2 other disks. Do you have them?
