Those who ferment their feed, do you add this during the fermenting process or after?

If you are fermenting your feed, I would add any powdered supplements after the fermentation is done. Stir them in just before feeding your chickens. But, if you ferment, you can actually skip the probiotics because the act of fermentation creates probiotics. You can still use this product, but it's not necessary. I would still stir in the Coop Kelp and Brewers Yeast with Garlic though.

I think what you're asking is how long will this last? You add one cup per 40lbs. of feed or 1 scoop per cup of feed. This large container is enough for approximately 840 lbs. of feed. The small one pound container will last through about 3 large bags of feed.

The directions states, 1 scoop per cup of feed, but a scoop is not included. Should be 1/2 teaspoon x cup or less?

Lisa Steele’s Breakfast of Champions calls for 11/2 c. Of the probiotic powder for a 40-50 pound bag of chicken feed. I only mix up a 20 pound bag at a time, so I use 3/4 cup of the probiotic powder. I follow her directions for what she calls Breakfast of Champions. I’ve had very healthy chickens for 6 years now!
