Pool filter
Used as a filter system for filling the pool straight from the well. Looks like I’ll get a year at best each filter. Solid product although contractors hit my set up twice needing repairs. But it’s working great

Cracked after 7 months; flooded my crawlspace.
While it is a cheap alternative and the threaded fittings are brass, the plastic case itself is, well... cheap. Out of the blue on a mild September day it cracked. Water started pouring everywhere into my crawlspace where the filter was installed. It was actually the day I returned from vacation. Thank God it didn't burst but a week earlier or it would have kept flooding for several days without my knowing. Don't "save money" with this product (read the other reviews: my situation is not unique) and get a real housing for your filter. Sidenote: still waiting for a reply from GeekPure on their warranty.

filter bracket is flimsy, overall filter itself is decent.
decent filter, but the bracket is flimsy junk. it will bend the first time you try to change the filter. I am a plumber, and have installed a bunch of these, just know the bracket is crap.

Works great
Update: bought one for my house and it’s working great aswell. Works great no leaks just use tape and plumbers dope and it shouldn’t leak, would be nice if it had a bypass feature and stronger bracket but it does the job and I like the clear canister over the blue I can see the filter. In my opinion every house should have a sediment filter, ull be amazed at how dirty it gets.

Perfect for Off-Grid Water Filtration
Perfect for Off-Grid Water Filtration, I live off-grid in North Wales and collect most of my water either from rainwater harvesting or by pumping directly from a nearby river. I needed a robust pre-filter that could handle a decent flow rate while removing sediment before the water entered my 1,000-litre IBC holding tank. After a lot of searching, I chose the Geekpure 20-inch clear filter housing along with the 5-micron sediment cartridges, and honestly, it's been one of the best upgrades I've made to my water system. I'm using it with an Omnigena MS1000 pump, which has a good flow rate and lift. Although the pump has its own intake strainer, I was still finding a surprising amount of fine sediment ending up in the tank. Before fitting this filter, I'd often see a layer of brown silt settled on the bottom of the IBC after a few days. The difference after installing the Geekpure housing was immediate. The filter kept up with the pump's flow without any issues, and after filling the tank and allowing everything to settle, there was virtually no sediment at all. The water was noticeably cleaner and clearer than before. One of the biggest advantages for me is the clear housing. Being able to actually see the cartridge working and monitor its condition is incredibly useful. You don't have to guess when the filter needs changing, you can see exactly what's going on inside. The housing itself feels very well made and sturdy. The ¾-inch BSP connections suited my existing pipework perfectly, installation was straightforward, and it came with a mounting bracket and filter wrench, which was a nice bonus. What impressed me most is that this isn't being used on a simple domestic mains water supply – it's filtering river water in an off-grid environment, which is a much tougher test. It has handled the job brilliantly. I'm already planning additional filtration stages for the water coming out of the holding tank, and I'll almost certainly be buying several more of these housings when I have more money. Highly recommended for anyone running rainwater harvesting systems, off-grid properties, agricultural water supplies, or anyone who simply wants a heavy-duty sediment filtration setup that actually does what it says on the tin. A genuinely excellent product. Five stars from me.

Nice manufacturing poor quality control from human error.
The actual product quality seems like it would be fine but I can’t even test Bitmoji because of poor quality control. The O-ring was not seated on the groove but the unit was fully threaded together. O-ring is damaged and will not seal.

Need improvement
Filter showed up with O-ring not placed correctly in bottom section causing it to be pinched and deformed. Bracket to support the filter is thin metal compared to the “Big Blue” brand and the whole filter moves when using the wrench to loosen and tighten when replacing the filter. The clear housing is nice allowing you to see the condition of the filter.
