The Elves and the Shoemaker (Little Golden Book)

This was my favorite book when I was little and this version comes closest to my memory. The story is enchanting and the illustrations are beautifully done. I look forward to sharing it with my grandchildren.

At first I was bummed bc it was a dif cover than the one in pic I was looking for in this great old story. Then I realized this one came first and I like this one even more. The book is in good shape, too. Very glad I made the purchase.

This is a lovely retelling of the heartwarming classic tale. The illustrations in the Little Golden book version seem a bit blurred. The costuming of the main characters is great though. The nightshirts and caps always remind us of the Night Before Christmas...

We are stocking up on the little golden books. They are easy to read, beautifully illustrated and cheap.

Loved reading this book again as it was a favourite from my childhood. Well worth having under the Xmas tree!

I ordered without noticing it was used. When it arrived it was it really bad condition so it went in the charity bin .
