Dr. Marten-Men's Men's 1460 8 Eye Boots

These boots fit perfectly and SO comfortable right our of the box! I wear a women's 9 and that is what I bought, but I do not lace them all the way to the top because they become too restrictive around the lower part of my calf. I love all my Dr Martens!

So I write this after having these boots for exactly 1.5 years; I love them! I do not regret this purchase. I will say though, they are more for the aesthetic appeal vs comfort. I do not wear them everyday, more like once a week or 2-4 days out of the month. They have wore-in comfortably over the past year. They still look brand new. I also want to add that I do take great care of them! Which is why they still look so good. If you plan on wearing them to an event that requires standing on your feet for more then 6 hours, your heels will start to hurt after a while. However I have never gotten a blister or any skin damage from wearing them for long periods of time. I would definitely recommend these!!

Size down! I read the reviews and even got in contact with my sister who has a pair, and everyone told me to size up, so I got my regular size and hoped that it would fit. It didn’t. I’m usually a ten in boots and the ten was huge on me. Had to return and get a size 9 instead which fit perfectly!! Love these boots, so glad that I finally decided to buy a pair.

Bought these for my step-daughter because we were tired of spending $20-$30 at a time every few months for the cheapo shoes at big box retailers, and we're glad we did. I've never owned a pair of Docs myself, but my wife had a pair in the 80's and she says they're just as high quality now as they were back then. My step-daughter wears them all the time (she's had them for about a year now) and they still look new. Yes, they are expensive, but this is definitely a case where you get what you pay for, and they have already paid for themselves by us not having to constantly buy cheaper shoes every few months.

I bought these boots both for working at a retail store, as well as for it's look. I'll soon be out of retail, but I'll continue wearing the boots throughout the fall and winter, and likely into spring as well. It does take about a month on average to break the boots in. Also, you might need some vaseline/petroleum jelly to put on the outside of the tongue on the boot (in between the laces too) to keep the boots from constantly squeaking. At least that's what worked for me. I really do have to say though, I've never, EVER gotten as many compliments as I do wearing these boots. And the compliments are coming from BOTH sexes. The boots are that awesome! Of course, they ARE Doc Martens, so you shouldn’t expect anything less. ;) I already own a yellow smiley face pair just like these, and I'm thinking about getting one more pair in red. They're a good investment and will last for YEARS. I'm sure of it.

I've wanted these boots since I was a teenager and finally decided to get them, and they're as magical as I hoped they would be. Takes a while to get used to them and are a bit uncomfortable at first, but it does take a while for these boots to break in. These are in fact Doc Marten originals and are worth it.

Came in the Dr.Martens box and they were very nice. Got just as expected and comfortable. Tighter around the ankles but fits great everywhere else. Shoes came in great condition and no damages down to the box or the packaging it came in.

Aesthetically pleasing, but you'll sound like Spongebob when he has the suds. The boot itself makes LOUD squeaks anytime you walk or shift your feet, limiting its practicality and making it frustrating to wear.
