Stainless Steel Beverage Dispenser Replacement Spigot for Berkey Filters

Easy to turn on and off, don’t leak, look very nice, work smoothly. I’ve replaced three of the stiff, leaky, misaligned plastic taps on our five gallon water jug with these gems. Nice flow. Recommended.

Got this to replace a missing nozzle on my berky. Fits well, doesn’t leak at all. The unit is stainless steel and feels high quality with nice tight tolerances. It even survived a fall. Good buy for a few bucks.

The item was just as described and worked perfectly. It was very easy to install and it looks great.

In the community center here we have had a glass beverage cooler for years (before I got there) which everyone complained about. It leaks, it's hard to turn, the "chrome" is peeling off. Sheesh.. just replace it with this unit like I did. End of all the problems.It is solid, heavy, all metal construction with an Easy to Use handle which Does shut off properly. The other one would just keep drooling for hours (leaking). It is normal for all valves like this to "dribble" a tiny amount that is still in the spout after being turned off, which is not a leak.The seals are silicon and well designed, unlike the originals which were plastic junk. Another notable difference is that this valve is easy to clean too. The inlet is quite large since it is metal. The locking nut is also metal and has washers to compress against the silicon seals.Be careful to not over tighten this unit onto a glass beverage jar.. unlike a plastic valve, this one will not break before the glass does if you are over zealous with tightening it on. The silicon seals do the work.. not brute force, just make sure they are centered in your jars hole properly.Great investment, we are buying more to replace them all.. even the plastic ones not leaking yet.

I bought these to replace the stock spouts that came with my 2 gallon beverage jug I use for brewing kombucha. I just installed them today, so far so good. I only tested the flow with water, and a quick test with the pooch to top off a bottle, but the dispensing flow seems really solid. I really like the style of the spout, as well as the twist open handle, as the flip top opener has a tendency to snap shut if I'm not careful. Also, the twist open spout uses a sort of circular shape with a hole in it, as opposed to a silicone plug like the flip open spout uses.. Interesting.At first I was skeptical of the grommets and washers provided, but they proved to be quite the seal. Again, I tested with water before I poured my booch into the container (nobody wants fermented tea leaking everywhere!). These spouts are everything I had hoped for! They're stylish, functional, easy to use and install (just remember to "pick up and pull" the grommet around the threads of the back of the spout, as to keep the integrity of the grommet!), and the flow, so far, is a solid stream. I will update after a couple brews to see how they are holding up.Also, the washers that came with them turned out to be blue, not plane stainless like the rest of the product. As long as they keep their integrity and hold in the beverage like they're supposed to, I've got no problem with the blue :)

We own a berkey water filtration system and though it is fantastic with the right filters and the entire unit is stainless steel, they only provided a plastic dispenser. We used that plastic valve for years until I noticed this steel tap for sale.Taking a chance I ordered and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tap. Very nice weight, sheen and lever. Well made stainless steel, unit. Comes with two steel plates that fit over the rubber sealing gaskets, one steel bolt and of course the tap. They even took the time to cover the steel caps for the gaskets in a blue protective film, that easily peeled off, before installation.Needless to say it is now on our water tank and fits perfectly. The gaskets are thick and pliable and we have no leaks, at all. Better yet, the water flow is much faster than with our old plastic tap, taking nearly half the time to get water out. This has a very easy turn to the side handle. Would buy again and suggest it over plastic any day.

I bought another one initially. Broke installing. It was advertised as steel. It had plastic components which broke when tightening to stop it from leaking. This one no leaks. Much better built.

This thing works awesome. 10 times the amount of water I got out of the old spigot that came with my filter
