They have been working fine for about a year
When they arrived, I tried both in my fridge to make sure they work, and there was no problem. This bulb provides adequate light (it seems as bright as the original incandescent one), and I expect it will last until the end of the fridge's life.

Works great in my 2005 side by side door Whirlpool refrigerator!
The light bulb inside the refrigerator side of my Whirlpool refrigerator (model number ED5PHEXRQ00) had burnt out recently, so I decided to upgrade it to a LED bulb finally. The old bulb was a 130V 40W bulb, so this bulb will save a significant amount of energy compared to that since this is a 120V 4W bulb. Also, it has an E26 base and A15 just represents what the shape of it is. Besides that, this bulb looks a bit brighter than the old bulb. And the older bulb gave off a yellowish light while this light bulb emits more of a white light (This bulb's brightness is 400 lumens and it's color temperature is 5000K Daylight White). For anyone who is wondering, is what the OEM light bulb's part number is that this light bulb is replacing, it is: 8009/AP3607217. And just one more thing. I know that the original bulb is made to be able to withstand colder temperatures. So it's nice to know that this bulb is supposed to be able to as well. According to the information I saw about this light bulb, it should be able to operate in temperatures as low as -4ยฐF and temperatures as high as 113ยฐF.

Make your refrigerator bright again.
Just wanted to share this, because I was blown away at how bright these little 4W LED bulbs are. I apologize for the dirty fridge, but I wanted people to see how much light this little bulb puts out. I used to have a standard 40W bulb in the fridge, but they would break so often because it would get hit when pulling out a soda or water and that isn't a problem with LED's because they can handle more vibration and movement. I like that this box came with two bulbs as well, so we have one as a backup. I am very happy I bought these bulbs over others that were more expensive. I went to Ace Hardware as well as Walmart and they wanted between $8 to over $20 for just one LED. This is a very cost effective solution if you are in the market for some new bulbs. My original light was just a little over 3" so I needed a small light to fit in that position on the fridge and guess what? It fit with plenty of room left.

The fridge is no longer a dark cave!!!
I can't say anything about the bulb's longevity, it replaces the 4-year-old (actually a week will be four years) OE LED. This bulb is a slightly higher wattage bulb...from 3.5w to 4w. LEDs appear to be really over-rated in my book. Better life-wise than incandescent bulbs, but not nearly as long as bragged about. Figuring the OE bulb was actually energized probably no more than 10 minutes a day (I seriously doubt that much), then for a four-year life for the OE bulb that means that it only was energized for only 243 hours during its lifetime. Other LEDs in lamps and fixtures are energized for a *much* longer time than that and are cheaper also. Seems in the cooler environment the bulbs would last longer. So, I have reservations about the longevity of these Acaxin-branded LED bulbs. Time will tell and I will update the review when this bulb burns out. I've got an incandescent in a stove that's still going strong after eight years and it is used much more than the refrigerator bulbs. Seems these small refrigerator LED bulbs may simply be intentionally designed to give limited life....only 243 hours, really? That's crap. But, that's not the hours of the Acaxin, but rather the OE "HeT" bulb. We'll see how the Acaxin performs...

WIsh these were in my fridge when I first bought it!
These are great 4-Watt LED lights, replacing the 60-Watt incandescent bulbs that came with my (overpriced?) GE Profile fridge some 15 years ago. Fridge has 2 bulbs, the left of which just burned out, so I ordered this set of 2 as replacements. I saw "WOW" not only because it was super easy to remove and install but also because the light cast by these new LED bulbs seem MUCH BRIGHTER even though they are less than 1/10th the wattage. Also, they seem more natural and easier on the eyes. These should've been in my fridge from the the get-go. Bottom Line: Buy them without fear and reap the benefits of lower operating cost, easier on the eyes and more light to see everything in your fridge.!

Refrigerator bulb
I ordered the bulbs yesterday and received them today. They are actually brighter, than the one that came in it, and brighter is really great!

Still going after 3 years.
First bought this when the refrigerator side's bulb went out and thought "its super bright" but after a while it is a good thing, I can see clearly inside the fridge and I bought it way back in early 2023 and its still working fine (now late early 2026). The freezer bulb went out just recently and although I had to find the second bulb in the pack I found it and now the freezer is super bright and clear to find items in there. Good bulbs.
