Works, but not an improvement from the 2.0.
I liked the shape of the 2.0 more to be honest. I used to wear the 2.0 to keep my hair out of my way in paintball, and I didn't even notice it, but this one feels a little too tight, and it slides up more often. Also, the stitching inside is a little more... external I guess?, and it leaves a pronounced patterned mark as opposed to just a line from my old one. Maybe I'm just bitter that I lost my 2.0 in the ocean and they don't sell them here anymore, but this one really seems less amazing. Still couldn't live without it though.

good, not great
I wear this underneath my motorcycle helmet and it awesome. After a few week though, the nike swoosh emblem ripped off. Wish the emblem was stitched on instead (being that it is about 15 bucks).
