My makeup guru friend recommended this since she's a pageant girl and knows how to keep makeup on all day. I was amazed that despite pictures, a hot summer day, dancing, and lots of food, my makeup pretty much did not move all day! Apart from a little flush in my cheeks from dancing, I pretty much looked the same day's end as I did at 9am...which is TOTALLY what I was going for. This little spray is wonderful. make sure you are holding it pretty far from your face, it's not as fine a spray as an aeresol, so to get a fine mist i would say you should probably hold it 10-12 inches away. After a (pretty heavy handed) application, I spread it with a powder brush and waited 2 min for it to dry before my makeup artist started on her magic. I used a smashbox luminizing (bronzing) primer over this, then with foundation, powder, and then finally the finishing spray (which I am also reviewing). I was pretty waterproof and set for a whole day of glam!

This is the best primer, my allergies gets the best of me and my watery eyes roll off my face

I love this, but I don't think it's the greatest primer out there. it's good for daily casual makeup, but for heavy makeup looks, I would use a different product.

For those who use water basemakeup this is the primer for you! It helps balance out the oil on my face throughout the day to help keep my makeup lasting longer and no drying out my face. I have combo skin so this one works better for me than the oil control. If you have really oil skin the oil contrl will probably work better for you.

Has kind of a bad smell to me. Also did not seem to do much. Basically like spritzing you’re face with smelly water. Don’t like it.

I love this product. I’ve been using it for years. I use it prior to adding my foundation and it’s really light and helps to hold my makeup in place.

I ordered this product on Jan 28th 2022 . Just so happen to look at the bottom of the bottle today and the expiration is jan 31 2022…. It’s supposed to have a 24m shelf life. They sent me a product that was going to be expiring in 3 days after I ordered it. Very disappointing as I’ve been a fan for a long time and have used the setting spray for years but wanted to try the primer. Just be aware and check the expiration dates right away if you order.
