Crusade Chessmen & Astor Place Board from Spain Extra Large, King: 6 7/8"

This set has made playing chess against the computer a delight. I tend to get caught up in the computer's pace and it defeats me many times when I should have won. When I make moves using this set I win 90% of the time because I take the time to study Black's intentions rather than get caught up in my own intentions. I really love this set. It arrived in near perfect condition (the tips of the swords on two pawns were broken off and Bello Games immediately replaced the two pawns with new ones. I've played 76 games on it and I am, and was initially, amazed at how clearly the board-.pieces-pawns reveal the moves. I was afraid the armies would "clutter" the board and make moves difficult to read, but just the opposite occurred. Love this set and I am enjoying chess 100% more than before.
