I use these to hold filter media in my aquarium canister filter. They work great and make cleaning the filter a much easier and quicker job.

After an initial wash in some sudsy water & a rinse, I used the bag to strain my harvested, peeled & blended aloe vera to remove all traces of peel & solids. The size was perfect to fit over a mixing bowl without falling back in, I squeezed & twisted super hard without breakage. Filtered as needed. Cleanup was easy, rinsed inside & outside, then did the wash & rinse. Air dried on my rack. Previously I had been using basket coffee filters, but they were small, floppy and would break. This works perfectly AND is reusable.

I didn’t give five stars only because blueberry seeds are very hard to get out of those seams.

All in all, good bags. I use them frequently. If you're making certain yellow-ish (blonde) substances, I will say that they aren't big enough, and also not tight enough mesh for total melt. Best to get a proper kit at a grow shop, but in a pinch, I made some pretty good blonde stuff that is fun; very little residue when dabbing. For everything else food-related, I've used them for hot sauce and half a dozen other projects in the kitchen, including infused coconut oil, and they work great.

I make soft cheeses and yogurt constantly and prefer nut bags to muslin for consistant use, sturdyness and being able to hang for gravity to help drain whey out. The string tie is good and the sliding clasp is a great plus! So easy to clean! I have used several types and sizes. This seems to be the best so far. I have had them for a month now.

I make 1 gallon wine using a 2 gallon bucket for first fermentation. This bag works perfect with those buckets! The one I had from a wine making kit was too small. I ordered a different one but didn't realize how big they were until after receiving them. They were made for 5 gallon buckets. Wish I would have start with these in the beginning, would have saved a lot of problems.

Using to press small amounts of olive paste for oil. They seem to hold together really well when pressure is applied. Also easy to clean. Good small size.

Fit my Fruit 1.6 Gallon Fruit Press. Use a hose to remove fruit residue caught in the mesh, then wash with dish soap and hang to dry.
