LamyAbc Red Fountain Pen-Medium (L10M)

We homeschool and start our kids off writing with fountain pens around the age of 7. This is the second one we have purchased and it is fantastic. Really well made, beautiful nib, not too delicate. Highly recommend for children or even adults who want a well made inexpensive starter pen. If you are an occasional user the ink cartridges are fine, but I recommend the convertor if you intend on using it regularly, it will save you money in the long run.

Outstanding pen for children to learn how to write, especially in proper cursive. The stroke is just right, neither too thin nor too broad. It comes with an ink cartridge as well as an ink reservoir that can be refilled when dipping the nib into an inkwell. I, however, use a syringe to refill the cartridge--that's even cleaner.

Lovely pen, comfortable grip and a nice flexible nib.

Perfect. My 3 year old is very happy. She is able to use it with ease.

Have not tried it yet but time to teach handwriting and not pressing and i doubt lamy quality has changed since i used it. Will write more after xmas.

Great pen

I have quite small hands and find this pen really comfortable to use. It writes really smoothly, and is a joy to use.I know it's aimed at kids but I've not found another pen that's suited me so well. I love the LAMY pens and ink cartridges, and this is my favourite pen so far.

Ich, Anfang 30, habe diesen Füller als Kind besessen. Und auch als Linkshändern war das top. Vor einigen Jahren habe ich das Schreiben mit dem Füller für mich wiederentdeckt und liebe es. Zur Einschulung meiner Nichte war also schnell klar, dass sie den Klassiker bekommen wird, denn auch meine Schwester hat damit “schreiben gelernt”. Die Kleine nutzt diesen bereits zur Übung in der Freizeit und hat nach anfänglicher Gewöhnung ein richtig gutes Gefühl dafür bekommen und mir bereits ein paar Briefe und Postkarten geschrieben. Das besondere Gefühl macht ihr viel Spaß und man sieht, dass sie immer besser schreiben kann. Die schulische Nutzung beginnt bei ihr erst in der 2. Klasse, da wird sie aber dann gut zurecht kommen. Das Material ist wie gewohnt hochwertig und der Füller kann beschriftet werden, damit Verwechslung ausgeschlossen wird. Das rot ist wie früher leuchtend und das Holz gut verarbeitet.Absolut zu empfehlen, egal ob als Geschenk oder als notwendiger Kauf fur das Kind. Bei Lamy kann man nichts verkehrt machen.Sollte meine Rezession euch geholfen haben freue ich mich sehr über einen Klick auf “hilfreich”.

Very happy with this, I did a lot of research to find a good pen for my son to improve his handwriting, it is coming along slowly and the markers for finger placement really help. Was impressed and purchased the pencils also which are helping both children, just wish I had got the pencils a lot sooner to improve grip. Highly recommend.

Bought for my nine year old granddaughter for first time using a fountain pen .She loved it and enjoys using it .

This is a fantastic beginners fountain pen, I have A Lamy fountain pen myself and love writing with it but bought this for my niece and she loves it, very comfortable in her hand.
