Right. I feel I need to clarify how this works - as some of the reviews expect results in hours or the next day. 🤦‍♂️. I get it, some people just aren’t that in the know with DIY, and that’s okay. So, here’s the low down: This is a “systemic” weed killer. It will kill the entire plant. It is very good at this. But, it takes time! Unlike some weed killers that promise results within days, this is designed to get a proper job done, and does not pretend to show results. If you are using another weed killer that is showing results within hours, you can bet your bottom dollar that’s by design - from the marketing department. But I assure you that weed killer may look like it’s doing a good job, until the weed returns a few weeks later because the root was untouched. You essentially just burned the leaves. This stuff interrupts the plants ability to make essential enzymes for the plants to live. That takes time. But it kills the entire plant - properly, root and all. Depending on the species, it will take between 1 to 4 weeks to fully kill. You’ll likely see wilting within a week. Now here’s the important part - this is absorbed through the leaves - do not be tempted to pull the weeds before or after application. No leaves, means no absorption, means no worky. Be patient, don’t be tempted to “help it along” by trying to manually remove the weed - you’ll hinder the process. You’ve been warned. Don’t apply when it’s going to be raining, or excessive heat (daylight sun) - it needs to absorb. Rain will wash it off. Too much direct sunlight will dry it before it has time to absorb - so apply early morning or evening, and avoid mid day sun. Then be patient. The one star reviews expecting results within hours, or the next day, simply do not understand what they have bought. Now you know. Excellent stuff for the money - you can make dozens of gallons from this bottle, so very price competitive to other premixed stuff. Get a sprayer, I got a cheap one from Screwfix, and you’ll be sorted for years.

Fantastic product. Used this on a large block paved driveway which had moss, grass and weeds in the majority of joints. Applied liberally and quite highly concentrated with a sprayer, and was initially sceptical when there was no reaction after 2-3 days. However, by 7-10 days everything went brown, wilted, shrunk and disappeared without a trace. Drive looks as if it’s just been laid. Still no reappearance of any weeds 2 weeks after they went. The nature of weeds is that they’ll always find a way to return at some point. But I’ll just use this product two or three times during the growing season and it will be money very well spent.

Good quality and good value

Okay I thought I would leave a review a few wks after use. Have used other strong strength weed killer that were just urgh. This stuff is great, the weeds have died off. What I actually got it for was the dreaded ivy that refuses to die so I used this, I did expect to see some results a few days later like the leaves starting to go brown etc but didn’t I thought I bought another dud. However 2 wks later it does seem to be working. The leaves are looking crusty and brown and starting to look like it is dying off. Hopefully this does the trick. It’s not as expensive as other ones I was using so I am surprised by the outcome. Child safety cap so prevents any leakage. Instructions are easy to do. Will definitely purchase again.

Bought this as it states it kills grasses!! We had a lot of weeds but also grass coming through the gravel. This has worked a treat and will be buying more if we need it. The weeds showed they were dying back after 48 hrs and by the 2nd weeks they were yellow and totally gone!! Expensive BUT it did what it promised!!

This root killer weed killer works fairly well but a lot of the thicker hard stemmed with deep roots haven't died....the top branch type twigs have come off but the stems near the ground and where the twigs have fell off are all green again a couple of weeks later....they must need an enormous amount of root killer to get to the bottom of the roots and they are £40 a bottle and there is only 1l in each bottle....some of the bottles were white with the cheaper root blast super strength bottles and not the orange type liquid I originally ordered which was £40 a 1l biottle and i didn't get a refund for this cheaper version and i ordered 7 or 8 bottles all together...and only have two left....ive got a 75 foot long garden and 16feet wide and ive mixed it as 8 litres water to 1 litre root killer.....a lot of nettles are growing back and the thicker wood-type stem weeds are growing stronger again after shedding their top branch-twig like branches but it hasn't killed off the weeds after spraying a 2nd time just them and the regrowing nettles.....I'm not very happy that the largest two number of weeds haven't died mm to be fair my garden was like a jungle and loads of different insects came in the house through the open summer time windows and open back door because of the hot weather.... So ive also had to spray the house with total insect destroyer spray and fly wasp and mosquito spray for the winged insects....I had a foreign small blue fly in that bit me ferociously....it was small and looked harmless but it must have come over in someone's suitcase and it took loads of raid fly spray to kill it....I won't trust another blue English looking small fly again....so this weed killing has cost me a lot of money and time and the thicker stemmed weeds and the nettles are all continuing to grow

Works well, takes a while before results are seen as stated on the product, 24ml in a litre of water it’s going to last a very long time, bottles well packaged and secure

Used this to stop the weeds and moss coming through on our block paving driveway. The fact that this comes in concentrate is a massive bonus as it’s a fairly large area that would get through a lot of weed killer. I mixed it to the recommended ratio in a large pressurised sprayer - made up about 4-5 litres and covered the whole area. It’s not very fast acting and took about a week to see any major effects. But after about 5 days the moss started to darken and the weeds were wilting. I gave the whole drive another pass with 4-5 litres and now -another week later - everything has pretty much died off. I’ll still need to get the jet washer out to try to rake everything out of the cracks and then resand it all at some point. But this stuff did its job fine. And knowing I’ve still got loads left in the bottle for next year definitely makes this better value for money than other options out there.
