does it include the transmitter

No it does not. The transmitter is cover under warrenty from Polar for 12-24 mos depending on the model you purchased. The strap is only covered for 6mos.

Does any one know the measurement of the small vs medium. I think I need to buy a new one it came with medium?

My chest is about 40" (maybe larger) and I'm a medium build here. I bought the M-XXL size and it fits great. I have enough to let it out further and plenty of space to tighten it. It's hard to measure since the strap itself is very elastic.

What’s the diff between this and the pro model strap 10 bucks more?

there are 3 main diff's between the two straps: 1. the pro model has larger sensor area to measure. 2. the pro model has a clip to close the strap instead of hook. 3. the pro has dots to increase friction so the strap stay in place better.
