Love it, works great, easy to use and work, plug in and find the station and away you go, use it with an apple phone and use Apple music, you can rewind or forward your music plus use it for answering the phone, music sounds better with it, with the phone had to put volume up but works great, decent price, can either stick it onto the car or use in the air vents, had lights in it which change colour

Update: August 2026 Disappointed to find the USB-A connector had broken off in its housing. Tried to contact Sonru, and no response over 3 months. A check of Companies House shows Sonru was purchased in 2021 and the company is dormant. Thought I'd try direct with Amazon and delighted that Amazon has refunded me without fuss and I've returned this device. Ownership and use has been very positive other than this breakage. So will probably buy another one. After reading so many positive reviews, I purchased this for my old van, which has a Blaupunkt CD/radio in it from 2006. Could have spent hundreds on a new updated audio system, but thought I would try this first. Have just travelled across Europe for a month with this great piece of kit connected to my Android mobile phone, listening to my favourite internet radio stations and also my own music collection. Took a few calls on it as well. The signal is transmitted through to the van speakers, and sounded amazing! Some slight bleeding from powerful local radio stations when passing through large cities, but within a minute or so got the full signal back, so didn't really need to change frequency, although that option was available to me if it got too bad. Sound was crystal clear through my old speakers, including when taking calls. Just pressed the button on the controller, attached to my air vent by the steering wheel, and connected to the caller straight away. Didn't need to touch my mobile phone at all. The callers could hear me very clearly as well. Also useful that my phone was kept charged up whilst on the move, as sometimes I would be on the road for hours. This kit was a breeze to set up, and I like the reassurance of a great warranty as well. Will certainly buy another of these for my old Mercedes (2005) as and when I feel I need to (I just swap between the van and car at the moment, easy to disconnect and place in the car, and vice versa). Good to find a company making easy to use, high quality kit like this. Highly recommended.

Pretty neat little gadget. Nice compact size. For the function of playing music, easy to set up and sound quality is not bad, it is quite quiet so you do have to turn the radio up. My phone auto connects to it, if it’s powered, but I don’t leave it plugged in. I do like that I can still plug in a phone charger/usb or usb-c lead while using it. The cable is a good length, I’ve managed to set it up and tuck the excess cable up in to the trim around the passenger footwell. I haven’t used the call function yet, but I don’t usually take calls while driving. Will update when I do. As one other reviewer said, the instructions are in a tiny booklet with tiny text. But I’ve found thats the case for any small electronic I brought over the last few years. Would be 5 stars if the holder that clipped to the air vent was a bit more secure. It holds, but a gentle nudge or a press of a button too hard and it moves.

I have a little 2007 Mini Cooper and wanted to be able to play music form Apple via my phone (iPhone) as well as take calls using handsfree. I did a LOT of research. I looked at TomTom Satnav devices (approx £300), Jabra handsfree car kits that fit on the car sun visor (approx £90) and a variety of FM transmitter options on Amazon ranging in price from £15 to £90. Many FM transmitters have the control buttons and mic on the bit that plugs into the cigarette lighter. This would have made it impossible for me to use safely or effectively because the cigarette lighter on the mini is very low down and almost under the dashboard. It sits behind the cup holders and is more or less completely obscured from view. I therefore decided to buy this car kit because it comes with a wired control unit and the bit that plugs into the cigarette lighter, which meant that I could have the mic closer to my face and the control buttons would be within easy reach of the steering wheel. I was amazed by how easy it was to set up. It literally is plug and play. My phone connects automatically every time I get in the car. I can use Siri for voice control to make calls, play Apple Music, Playlists, Audible etc. The sound quality if phenomenal. Everyone comments on how clear voice calls are when I use it. It's way better than the system that was factory fitted in my Evoque which frequently failed and always suffered from interference and crackles making it impossible to use. If you're looking for a great quality handsfree kit for your car, you really cannot do any better than this. It's amazing.

To be honest i was a bit sceptical on how the quality would be with regards to the price of it....how wrong was I. The device can be mounted in the air vent or on the dash with the mount provided i chose the air vent mount. The instructions are clear and its easy to set up in 5 mins once you've tuned the radio station to 87.5 which the devices uses to play music/phone calls through the car speakers. The device itself is basic and clutter free with a big button to answer or end calls, and you can customise the colour to your choice and buttons for previous/next songs via your phone connection. The Bluetooth was easy to connect and the quality of sound for calls or music playback was crystal clear. The good thing about this device is how easy it is to use with no unnecessary buttons or gimmicks and it's in your line of sight for easy use without taking your eyes off the road when answering a call unlike my previous one which was located in the cigarette lighter making it awkward and dangerous to use while driving. Sometimes you can over think or research stuff before you buy but for the price I only wish I bought it sooner. 5 stars all around.

Great connectivity. Fast and easy to connect. Only downside is the awful high pitched noise which i assume is interference. Not great.

Better than expected works well and clear sound when playing radio through it worth its weight to me

Great little bluetooth transmitter, comes with a lead and sticky pad so I can stick it by my steering wheel instead of just plugging into socket, good clear microphone, clear music, very stable, nice little display. Turned by old car into a bluetooth music (spotify) playing hands free mean machine.

Buenas, tengo un Ford viejillo con la radio de serie, la 6000cd, que ni lee mp3, el coche tiene algunos problemas eléctricos así que no quería andar cambiando la radio ni nada. En otro coche tuve un transmisor pero era muy malo, se iban las emisoras y reproducía en mono. Pero nada que ver este Sonru, venía bien empaquetado, con sus instrucciones en español, todo perfecto. Busqué una emisora vacía, (si vivís en la ciudad va a costar), y se conectó al instante. El rgb de la rueda lo podéis quitar del todo, pero yo lo dejé en color rojo que no deslumbra y así de noche podéis ver el botón. Hice una llamada y desde el otro lado me oían bien y sin ruidos de nada. Además, cuando os llamen suena por los altavoces del coche la misma melodía que tengáis en el móvil. Los usb's, viene uno 2.0 con carga rápida de hasta 20w, yo dejé mi teléfono (Galaxy M52 5G) media hora y cargaba rápido, un 60%. Viene además con otra conexión usb tipo-c, que también es carga rápida. Una de las cosas que me hizo comprarlo fue que donde van los usb está fuera del transmisor, con un cable de alrededor de 1,5 metros. En mi coche por ejemplo, un Mondeo de 2002, hay un hueco en medio abajo, incrusté el soporte que se pega, sin pegarlo, a presión y de ahí no se mueve. Levanté la tapa del pomo del cambio y metí el cable por dentro hasta el mechero, donde hice un pequeño agujero para que siguiese pasando el cable. Queda entonces integrado en el salpicadero. Adjunto una foto para que veáis como queda. Lo que si os recomiendo, desenchufarlo cuando lleguéis a casa, ya que me fijé y se quedaba encendido aún con la llave quitada. No se si será cosa de mi coche, pero lo aviso por si acaso. Los puertos usb son de carga nada mas, si queréis conectar el teléfono si o si con el bluetooth, que va a las mil maravillas, puedes escuchar música de lo que tengas, en mi caso Amazon Music, o vídeos de Youtube, se oye sin retraso y muy bien. Como resumen creo que es una buena compra por 21 euros que cuesta. Coge muy bien la emisora y la señal bluetooth del móvil, así que de momento estoy muy contento con él.

Je suis absolument ravi de ce transmetteur FM Bluetooth de Sonru. Après un an d'utilisation, il fonctionne toujours parfaitement. C'est de loin le meilleur que j'ai eu l'occasion d'essayer. La connexion Bluetooth est rapide et stable, et la qualité du son est excellente pour ce type d'appareil. Il capte très bien et la transmission est très claire, sans interférence. Un achat que je recommande sans aucune hésitation si vous cherchez à moderniser votre véhicule sans changer d'autoradio.

Harstikke leuke transmitter zeker voor dat geld. Ziet er mooi uit, makkelijk te bedienen en de geluids kwaliteit is veel beter dan verwacht zeker als je hem via aux aan je speakers aansluit.

Lätt att installera och para ihop med telefonen. Tillräcklig stark stereo-fm-sändare, som behövs eftersom mottagande radioantenn oftast sitter baktill på fordonet. Nu enkelt att strömma spotifylistor till bilradion:-) Fungerar även bra som hands-free.
