NITEHAWK 360 Swivel Deluxe Shooting Hunting Chair Padded Gun/Rifle Rest

Had a small issue on delivery but after emailing the seller, the small issue was resolved by the seller.The chair is compact but sturdy product, (if it can take my 17stone, then it is better than sturdy.) That said, it is easy to move about when assembled.I am more than happy with my chair. It is adjustable to fit your style of holding your gun.I, for one, am more than happy with my purchase.The only downside is the sheet of paper that is, called assembly instructions. Fix that, then this would get a 110% from me. As is I would give the product 97%.

A great rotating chair, comfortable and functional with lots of adjustment. A couple of small negatives, it is quite heavy and an aluminium version would be great and it would be handy if the rifle rest could be detached - it's an easy fix, just saw it off! Overall a good product.

ideal piece of kit for heavier rifle. have heard of possible problem with swivel. Quite sturdy but heavy. You wouldn't want to lug it far. No instructions. Also a 1/4 in bar sticks out from the rifle steady. no one is sure what its for yet alone have anything for it. Probably for a bag for spent rounds?. None the less good kit for price.

Its ok. ok for the money that is. its a bit wobbly and the legs, dont trust the legs until youve sat down cos they dont lock into position which makes sitting down not so carefully kinda dangerous.Mine came with broken parts (all 4 plastic square tube things that go on the legs and thats mentioned in another review here too) which, when I go on my mobile I will upload to this review for all to see. I havent complained because I know what selling cheap stuff is like. You get what you pay for.That said, Ive used it for a pest problem on the farm and it worked fine.

This was delivered in a box without a picture or any instructions on assembly so I had to refer back to the picture on Amazon so that I could see how it was supposed to be assembled. O.K. I know it isn't mega complicated but the inclusion of a picture or something would have been nice.I got the unit assembled and initially I was quite pleased with it as I used it for a session of vermin control where I was swiveling in a 180 degree arc.After about 2 and a half hours I noticed that it was getting a little more difficult to swivel and by the end of my session it was getting quite tight. I put the stool away and thought I would look at it in daylight and perhaps try some lubrication. When I examined it today I could not revolve the seat at all so I decided to remove it and try some lubrication.BIG, BIG, Mistake!! The seat just would not budge so I removed the wingnut and washer and thought I would just tap it through with the hammer. NOT a chance!! I ended up really whacking it but still I could not get the seat back off and I have damaged it so much now that I can't really return it.I have added a picture so you can see how hard I have whacked this damn thing to get the seat off but it just wouldn't go. It is as if constantly swivelling welded these suckers together.If you intend to buy this you will need to re-engineer it, ideally so the seat swivels on a bearing. Lubricating this from the off may help but I think it will still seize eventually. If it does then I would advise sending it back immediately as trying to sort it out yourself will probably result in damage like mine.30/11/17 Review Update.I thought I would update my review as since contacting Outdoor Value they sent me a replacement.When I opened the box of the replacement there was one of the locking wheel/screws missing, however I didn’t notify Outdoor Value as they told me to keep the original as spares, so I had a spare locking wheel/screw I could use.When I tried to assemble the replacement, it was evident that I was going to have the same issue as the leg bracket was a really tight fit over the seat spindle and I could not push it all the way on.At this point I had 2 choices, send it back or modify it. As I liked the design and that the fact that it works well when it works as it should, I decided to keep it and modify it to correct the problem.Using a couple of different grades of wet and dry paper I removed the paint from the seat spindle until I got it back to bare metal (I would say this is baked on once painted as I found it quite hard). I then sprayed the spindle with silicone spray and I also greased it and the leg bracket hole.I have used this configuration 3 times now and it still swivels freely.I have changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars because the stool works well when it is modded to work properly. It is quite heavy as it is made from steel not alloy so although it can be separated into 3 different bits for transportation, I wouldn’t want to have to keep moving it around.If I was using it around the barns on a farm all the time I would probably have bought a bar stool/chair instead (there are some cheap ones on Amazon), and modified it myself by adding a similar gun rest arm as it would be a more comfortable option for regular use.

I had to saw the backrest horizontal down by 6 inches to get it anywhere near my back. The whole structure is unstable therefore it isno good as a shooting platform.

Could be more sturdy
