This works very well for a migraine the top portion over top of your head is a very lightweight, thin fabric. The ice pack portion is heavier like you would expect and it’s about a 2 1/2 inch thick band all the way around your head.

This is a great, soft fabric cap with the perfect sized pockets of gel, which I keep in the refrigerator. Keeping it in the refrigerator is much more comfortable and plenty cool, without having to use a towel as when put in the freezer. Also, by keeping it in the freezer the gel pockets are flat or misshapened, not head contoured, thus you must let it thaw a while. I have debilitating chronic migraines and cannot go through all those steps. I need to walk to the fridge with eyes half closed, open the fridge, put the cap on and make it back to bed. Only change I've made to it, is to place the cap opposite of the directions. I place the Velcro adjustable closure at my forehead, so the middle gel pack is at the lower back of my head/neck, thus giving coolness there also. It's very comfortable lying down on, instead of having the 2 pieces of Velcro sticking in the back of my head. The other gel packets fit perfectly over my temples. It's also very light, not tight (being adjustable) and brings great relief sitting, reclining or lying down. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAP, IN FACT, I bought two because while being a great cap, the coolness only lasts about 20 minutes and I can have another ready if I need or want another right away.

Sincèrement, j'ai pris ce produit car il n'était pas cher et que je n’étais pas ultra convaincue. Mais grâce à lui, j'ai pu traverser les journées de fortes chaleurs dans le confort et le réconfort : soulagée de ne pas avoir la tête dans un étau à cause de migraines. Je ne peux plus m'en passer. La fraicheur dure longtemps (30mn au moins) et surtout, une fois réchauffé par la température ambiante, quand je le remets au congélateur, il suffit de très peu de temps pour pouvoir le ré utiliser. C'est Génial ! :-)
