Great Adapter

Works for SATA to Molex
Ran out is SATA ports but components these days use the new standard for drives and such, so if you find yourself needing this, then it's a mist-buy! Good value and fast shipping!

I have never used this type of adapter but my new pc requires another power point for additional drives. I was concerned more about my power supply than the adapter but since I was asked - works fine.

Very difficult to plug in
As others have noticed and reported, it's very difficult to plug in the Molex connector. The pins are not properly secured and wobble around a lot. Trying to align all 4 of them at the same time was "fun". Eventually I managed, and after that filled the back side of the connector with epoxy as I don't want to play this fun game ever again. Cheap? Yes. Works? Yes, once you plug it in. 5 stars? Hell no.

Grundsätzlich gibt es solche Molex/SATA Adapter auch teilweise zum halben Preis. Was dann hier aber positiv auffällt und aus meiner Sicht den immer noch günstigen Preis rechtfertigt, ist die gute Verarbeitungsqualität. Gerade am Molex steckeln sind die Pins oft sehr wackelig, was hier nicht der Fall ist. Alle Steckerteile halten fest und das Kabel knickt nicht. Ebenfalls positiv ist, dass auch direkt nach dem auspacken keinerlei Plastikgeruch o.ä. wahrnehmbar ist.
