Alan Kitching's A-Z of Letterpress: Founts from The Typography Workshop

There's nothing to think about—just buy this book. The printing quality is amazing and it's a useful reference for all type nerds. Letters range from standard to weird. This is destined to become a classic. A great reference and inspirational work for creating your own logotypes, fonts from scratch, or scanning what's already in here and taking it from there.Did I mention that it's printed with his actual type collection?? All 270 of these pages are l-e-t-t-e-r-p-r-e-s-s-e-d. These aren't scanned in and printed. Who knows how many copies were produced, but it's not something they can just click File>Print again. The whole thing was a monumental task and a labor of love.You're seriously dumb if you don't buy it. The book even has that inky printshop smell.

I'm a lettering geek. This provides full sets on the page and different letter press fonts. A must have if you're a fan of letterpress

This is a beautiful book and the pages have a wonderful feel to them. I am finding so much inspiration for my hand lettering. A must have for anyone's type library.

What a great book! My friend owns an antique letterpress and I hope she enjoys this book as much as I have enjoyed flipping through it.

A silly little book; of no use to me.

Cover is a bad rip-off of TASCHEN's "Visual History of Typefaces and Graphic Styles"  Type, Volume 1: A Visual History of Typefaces and Graphic Styles . Embarrassing.

A great and spetacular - amazing - book about letterpress samples, good design work and wood type font selection!

This book arrived ripped in several places with the lettering worn in many places. I tried contacting the seller and received no response. Fail.

The book contains just 39 typefaces with formulaic layouts.
