Wathai Cooling Case Fan for Receiver Xbox TV Box Router 120mm x 25mm 5V USB

Works great bought it to cool my Tablo tv. It works great keeping the Tablo cool and is very quite.

Our new CenturyLink modem (replacing one that failed after four years) was almost hot to the touch after installation. The consensus of advice online was that a cooling fan would alleviate the problem. This is the fan I chose, and (following a photo I saw online of the same modem with a similar fan) I put it on top of the new modem. Boy howdy, does it ever do the job. The modem is cool to the touch on the sides and so is the air coming out of the top. Couldn't be easier to use. Highly recommended.

I had a need for a fan that would help with cooling my Router. I happened across this particular fan and purchased it. Placed it underneath and immediately felt the exhaust of warm air from the Router. Fan has three speeds and runs super silently on each speed. Highly recommend it.

This fan works perfectly for my needs of cooling down a mini pc. The fan has three settings that allow you the control the speed as necessary via a connected usb switch. Resting atop rubber nubs for feet, the fan does well to stay secure to its surface.. The black design also is discreet and matches well with the case of my many PC. All in all it is very well-made and looks nice. My only complaint is that the fan is a little bit noisy to the point where I have to turn it off at night because it is too loud to sleep with on its lowest setting.

Purchased this fan from reviews on cooling modem that can overheat and cause buffering. My modem was in a location that caused excessive heat. And modem runs great now and no more buffering. It works! I have a GreenWave DSL Modem by Centurylink. If you have a similar issue buy this cooling fan and place it on the top of the modem to draw the heat out, not on the bottom.

I really do not like any noise at all, I am very sensitive to any sound that can interfere with my train of thought. The lower setting is so quiet that I have to sometimes check to make sure that the fan is still working. Even at this low setting, it still produces enough cooling to keep the device from getting too hot so it definitely works. I use this for a mini PC and it is the perfect size for it.

My Mac Mini was occasionally lagging and rebooting due to overheating, so I bought this fan, and it works incredibly well. The 3-speed control switch makes it very easy to adjust, and it runs almost silently. Choosing this product was an excellent decision.

I've been using these for several months, and I'm honestly very impressed One has been running on low, full time, for roughly 4 months and I've had no issues These are extremely well made, quite solidly built, and VERY quiet, even on high. They are the perfect size for the small solid state mini computers, I have a DVD player sitting on one, and I've used one to keep a video game system from overheating Highly recommended

So far so good. It is effectively cooling my home theatre controller. It is good that it has a plug that powers it via USB. So all you need to do is plug it into the USB port of the Home Theatre controller and it will automatically start and stop whenever the controller is switched on or off. Noise level is also adjustable via the fan speed.

I'm updating my review to 5 stars because this fan works great, just not under my modem. After I had installed it under the modem, I noticed that my PVR box was also running hot, so I moved the fan and put it ON TOP of the PVR box. (I noticed that the PVR box only had ventilation holes on the top.) Beauty! This fan is SILENT when used in this application. Works like a dream. I only need to run it on the first setting to keep the box lovely and cool. ***** If this was under a modem in my basement I might not mind the hum. But it's in the corner of the master bedroom, and even my deaf husband can hear it running on low. I was initially very impressed that it came with speed control, but it's not silent on the slowest speed, so I'm not very happy with it.
