FoodSaver Precut Vacuum Sealer Bags for Airtight Food Storage and Sous Vide Cooking, BPA-Free, 1 Quart, 44 Count

I am constantly telling a friend of mine to start using a vacuum sealer at home. Get the precut bags, much easier to use. I like to meal prep for dinners and it's not too difficult to fill up these bags, date them and put them in the freezer. You can get 10 months to a year storing your food. The bags don't leak. I write the date I stored them on the bag with a sharpie. I recommend it.

I have used the Food Saver system and these bags for more than a decade. I have used the gallon, quart, and pint size bags. I have also used the rolls. Initially, I bought the FoodSaver to package fish during our fishing trips to Canada. The gallon and quart size bags are perfect for packing and freezing our fish fillets. We use a ball point pen to identify the type fish and the date we froze it. The bags are sturdy and very easy to use. We still use the bags for freezing fish but we have expanded their use for other foods. We purchase bulk food products and then put into bags for two-person meals. We have used the bags for salmon, tilapia, steak, pork chops, hot dogs, and many other foods. They are perfect for portion control. As to the quality control, I have never experienced any of my sealed bags leaking. I always make sure that the open end of the bag is free of any food before I start to seal it. Sometimes, the machine will not exhaust all the air from the bag. When this occurs, I immediate stop the machine before it begins the heat seal. I have found that when this occurs, either there is food near the top of the bag or the open end of the bag is not seated properly in the vacuum channel. Readjusting the bag in the channel will resolve this problem. My experience is when the bag is properly seated; you will see the bag collapse immediately around the food. I have rolls but I only use them for fishing when we catch large Northern Pike which don’t fit in pre-cut bags. We have vacuum sealed foods and kept them in the freezer for months without freezer burn or spoilage. You can probably find cheaper bags but you get what you pay for. Like I said previously I have never had a problem with the bags and I am willing to pay a little more for quality. I would recommend this product.

These bags are good quality, just as good as comparable, other brand name vacuum seal bags. They seal as they should and are sturdy for soups, stews, baked goods, meats etc.

I love my food saver. I highly recommend these bags and a food saver. It saves you a lot of money over overtime.

the Precut work BETTER than the "select-a-size" rolls , by FAR . anything even moist , roll stuff , will NOT seal well , these PRECUT seem to work MUCH better , making worth a little extra$$

Use these a lot. We try to buy and store our meat in bulk. These are very good quality, easy to use . Keeps food fresh. I buy different sizes for meat, fish and chicken. Veggies too. Good sizes to choose from.
