Paul Mitchell The Detangler conditioner deserves every one of its 5 stars-its truly amazing and has been a staple in my routine for years. This lightweight formula works instantly when applied to wet hair post- shampoo, eliminating the need for a traditional conditioner in the shower- saving time while delivering superior results. It leaves my hair incredibly soft, shiny, and manageable without any heaviness or buildup, transforming even the most tangled messes into sleek, healthy- looking strands I’ve relied on it consistently for years, and it remains an essential part of my beauty routine- highly recommended for anyone seeking salon quality results.

This product, at first, to me worked better for a detangler than a conditioner. But I believe it serves well now for a conditioner as well. I did feel like it does not spread out easily to other parts of hair when applied and I had to add more water to my wrung out hair when applying, as I kept having to add more conditioner but I have a lot of hair. After I blow dried my hair, my hair was smoother than most conditioners I’ve used. The smell is not great. I was not expecting the color of the conditioner to be yellow thinking it was old but that’s what the color is supposed to be. This detangler conditioner works just as good though for detangling as the Enjoy detangler spray I buy and you get about triple the amount for the price of Enjoy. Over all, I’m satisfied with this product and going to keep using.

I never have ever written a product review here on Amazon.But holy amazeballs.I wear hair extensions, and I have for quite some time. (yes, I'm an addict) I wear quality extensions and typically do not have a problem with knotting or tangles in my extensions.I went to a new stylist, who put in a new brand of quality extensions. I have always used Tresemme Moisturizing Conditioner on my extensions without issue. After wearing this hair for a few weeks, I found myself having to CONSTANTLY brush through them- they looked great right after I styled them, but within an hour, the texture became dull, and they knotted and tangled and frizzed. I found myself combing through them all the time with my fingers, and was always self conscious about how they looked. When I wore them in a ponytail, which was quite often, it was even worse. I used proper products in my hair as well, including Its A Ten Spray, argan oil, etc. Didn't make a difference.Welp, I was pretty bummed. After some internet research, I found that this product was recommended by several extensions websites. I bought it with high hopes.And it did NOT disappoint. My hair literally has no tangles. No snarls. No frizz. After a full day. I'm in awe. And both the extensions and my real hair are soft and feel light.Bottom line, if you wear any kind of remy human hair extensions in your hair, BUY THIS PRODUCT!! DO IT NOW. I can only imagine the results this will give to regular hair, when it does this to chemically-processed hair that does not get the benefit of natural oils from the scalp. Wowza. Forever customer. 5 stars.

This conditioner is amazing for detangling and smoothing hair. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, and easy to comb through without weighing it down. A little goes a long way, and the scent is clean but not overpowering. Works great on both wet and dry hair. Classic Paul Mitchell quality.

This has been my favorite detangler for over a quarter of a century. Wow. That’s a long dang time!

This is a miracle product. It's totally eliminated the need for a leave-in or any other products following washing - and my hair gets VERY tangled and frizzy. At first, it seems underwhelming in the shower, and feels more like "product" than a conditioner. I used a huge glob of it but figured out quickly that it's not necessary. Leave it on for a few while you're showering, and you'll be amazed how you can comb through it with little effort after. It's significantly reduced the amount of hair that comes out when showering and after brushing/combing, and improved overall hair texture. I don't need ANY product after a brushing. Just air dry. If you use a dryer or iron, maybe a little heat protection serum or something, but that's it. It's more of a product than a conditioner, but it's better than either. WORTH IT and saves on wasting money on other hair stuff that leads to build-up. Hair feels very clean and light, and the fragrance is super light/minimal. I would describe as "clean" and barely noticeable. LOVE - best stuff I've ever purchased for my hair.

This isn't as good as the leave-in conditioner. And it doesn't help much with the tangles in the back.

It's a product I have used for many years, helps keep hair in condition,not stick or clingy to your hair. Helps when styling hair, hair feels more pliable. Helps holding style.Apply a small amount like 5p depending on length thickness. Bit less if hair short and thin.

Excellent product. Just disappointed that it was a small bottle. It works very well though.
