POWERTEC Quick Screw Guide Rail Clamps for BOW XTENDER Fences, MFT Table, Track Saw Guide Rail System, 7” Capacity x 2-3/8” Throat Depth, 400lbs Clamping Force - 2PCs (71409)

I bought these clamps to use with the POWERTEC 71387 55” Guide Rail Joining Set, after I had some issues with the tracks shifting (without clamps) while cutting 4'x8' melamine. Since I saved money buying cheaper tracks, I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to get some good quality clamps. I didnt like the idea of having clamps with a bunch of plastic parts, so I went with these powertec clamps. I just got finished cutting up 6 sheets of 4'x8' mdf, and I had no issues with these clamps. They are easy to adjust, and fit the powertec tracks nicely. They clamped the tracks in place, and didnt budge at all while making 30+ cuts. I didnt feel the need to baby them while they got shuffled around between cuts. They seem robust enough to handle abuse that may occur while on a jobsite. I am very happy with these clamps, and feel it is a must-have tool with my tracksaw. I'd rather take the 20 seconds to clamp the tracks down, then to risk having the tracks shift on critical cuts/ expensive material.

Good clamps

I bought these to use on two other products and can confirm they fit both. The Woodpeckers Mortise Match jig for the Domino, and the Kreg Adaptive Cutting System guide track for the Kreg plunge saw.

They are smaller than the good Milwaukee’s but for the price this is a solid buy. Works great on my track saw track

Not good quality. Pad won’t stay attached to clamp. Irritating to use as it keeps falling apart as I try to clamp things together. UPDATE: Powertec sent me a new clamp to address my issue. Issue is fully resolved. New clamp is exactly as I expected. They made me prove my purchase and spent time thinking about their reaction, but in the end they did the right thing. I appreciate them!

I use a makita track, these fit it perfectly, as well as with bench dog holes, as many many reviews show. they are light, quick and fairly easy to setup as clamps go. These are totally fine for the type. They slide easily, turn smoothly, are very sturdy, and the handle grips are nice and grabby without being gummy at all. overall very happy with these.

Well built. Way better than the Wen squeeze clamps I purchased before. These don't loosen mid cut.

I bought this item to go with my track saw, as they were a lot cheaper than the original brand. Well they changed my life and work exactly as they should. I love them.

I purchased these to use with an MFT style work bench with 3/4” dog holes. Clamps are long enough to fit in the holes anywhere on the bench and work fine for that purpose. They are quite thin otherwise. They are significantly thinner than my other similar clamps from other manufacturers and so I don’t think these will exert a ton of clamping force but they seem to work for my purposes. They were definitely cheaper than the ratcheting type.
