Corona RS 7041 Razor Tooth Folding Saw, 7-Inch Blade , Red

I use this for pruning and around the yard to keep my bushes and trees trimmed. I have old growth trees with poison ivy vines as thick as my arm. This saw works better than loppers or anything else I’ve tried.It has very aggressive teeth that make quick work of cutting cleanly thru branches.I particularly like that it’s foldable- being up and down a ladder I appreciate that it isn’t going to stab me if I fall.I can recommend this saw.

I really like these things when it comes to backpacking across the wilderness. It is light and packs very well. It cuts branches and even skinny trees that have fallen easily. Even with me not being as gentle these things still hold out very well. Only thing I noticed is the pin being used for the release lever was popping out and I would have to smash the side against the wood to pop it back in.With the lightweight, less energy being used, and easy to maintain I would recommend this over any hand axe or other saw to other hikers looking for camping gear.

This isn't the old school type folding saws that had a bit more meat in the blade that grandpa used to cut down the christmas tree, but this is a sharp little saw. Because of the blade thinness, it's prone to binding in larger branches...still, it's a nice little saw.

Great saw, cuts very fast (better than my corona 10" saw). I use this in my pack when hiking and mountain biking. I have used it several times recently and highly recommend it. The non-curved blade helps it pull more consistently when cutting to get the full stroke. Easily will cut up to 6" diameter in bothe hard and soft woods.

The blade is extremely sharp. Cuts are fast and clean. Durable product. All around xcellent professional tool! What you'd expect from Corona.

I already had one of these saws and was looking for a new blade. I had used it for years commercially and privately and the blade was getting a little tired. I found the blade but also found for a couple of dollars more I could buy a whole new saw. Since I had already had one of these I knew they were great saws and would last through years of hard use. So I bought a new one and now I have a new one for nice clean cuts and an older one that's a little more beat up for tougher conditions. Keep your fingers out of the way, this blade is extremely sharp.

Corona tools are always great quality. I have a larger corona pruning saw, but this 7 inch one is terrific because it is small, lightweight, cuts like a champ, and easy to carry around in my garden kit. It opens and closes easily. A bit of oil on the blade occasionally is a good idea.

I bought this to replace the same model I've had for many years that broke due to my abuse. When I originally bought it, I also bought a replacement blade, thinking it would be needed. Never had the need to replace, as original blade still sharp, although slightly rusted. Was pleasantly surprised that I could order the same model after all these years!
