OK, so many people use Bromelain as an alternative to Ibuprofen for anti-inflammatory purposes. It helps with any condition where you might use those sorts of tablets.This is a pack of 180 capsules, but you need to take them in pairs, so you have 90 doses here. Taking Bromelain is also reputed to be good for the digestive system, as is eating pineapple, from which the enzyme derived, but many people, like me find pineapple too acidic to tolerate as a regular part of the diet. For these reasons, the capsules or supplements can be a good idea. One thing to look out for is that some manufacturers add magnesium stearate to the powder - this maker doesn’t, which is useful if you do separately take a magnesium supplement.The capsules are vegan (no gelatine) and easy to swallow. The price per dose compares quite well with other providers and I highly recommend this product!

I have been taking these bromelain capsules to tackle one particular thing - sinusitis which are a bit prone to in our household for some reason. Bromelain is purported to be effective against inflammation and swelling - particularly after surgery - but could also be effective on any areas of inflammation including gums for example.After a couple of weeks of taking these I have had less pain in my sinuses but it is a bit hard to pin down an exact trigger as sinus pain is not an exact science and can come on in waves and then disappear for a few days. But certainly over the last week I haven’t had any, so that good.I love pineapple anyway so in some ways it’s a shame that these aren’t a nice chewable sweet or something, as then I could enjoy the taste whilst reaping the benefits of the enzyme, but no matter, I’ll just pour myself a pina colada instead.They are a pretty pricey supplement, especially when you consider that the alternative go-to anti-inflammatory is ibuprofen which is cheap as chips these days. But if you’re a fan of natural alternatives with proven results and you can afford the fairly steep price, these are a sound purchase.

As with any supplement it's impossible to give a comprehensive review on the basis of a week or so taking them.That said, I can accurately review a few things.The tablets arrived in quite a big tub, with the usual seal. The lid has a flip top, or of course you can just unscrew it.The inside doesn't really smell of much, always a bonus!The white capsules are a bit longer than an average paracetamol caplet, and the coating helps make them easy to swallow.They don't have any particular aftertaste.Bromelain is regarded as an anti inflammatory, and as a way of helping gut health.Pineapples are delicious, but i am one of the people who just cannot eat it fresh because it causes mouth sores. It's allegedly brilliant at killing some of the bacteria that cause sore throat, which is ironic considering how it makes my mouth hurt! So being able to take it as a supplement is a great opportunity.It's also supposed to help with bloating and gut issues.This large tub contains 180 tablets, and the recommended dose is 1 or 2 daily. Please always double check for contraindications with any existing medication.I will pop back in a couple of weeks and update this review as needed. Hopefully there will be good things to report.Currently priced at £30.51 which isn't cheap, but it does give you a 3 month supply at the higher dose.I hope you find this review helpful, thanks for reading.

I ordered these as when young my grandmother would feed us pineapple regular and talk about it as wonder fruit,so to know active ingredient could be purchased in supplement form was attractive to me.I knew was good for digestive issues but it’s also anti inflammatory and can speed up healing of bruising all great plus for me with health conditions I have.I have been taking for over a week and I trust they contain stated ingredients so expect them to deliver but due to fact I take various supplements as well as controlled diet it’s sometimes hard notice improvements but you suffer less complaints and trust that combination of supplements and diet Is therefore working.These are easy to swallow ,I wouldn’t say the pills are small but there not as large as some and are very easy to swallow.I do think these are quite expensive but I will take the 3mths supply and if I feel are give enough benefits I will probably order again.There is full list of ingredients on bottle as well as dosing instructions.So far so good

As someone who has a delicate gut, I always tended to have issues when eating meat protein every day. I would usually end up with serious constipation that would cause internal cuts/fissures. Unfortunately this seemed to be a repeating issue for me, So even though i like the occasional BBQ, I had to cut down on the amount of meat i was eating to eliminate the problems i was having.These days when i am going to eat more meat, I take 1-2 pineapple enzyme tablets about 15-20 minutes before each meaty meal to enable me to eat without discomfort, And avoid the after effects i used to have. These work like other enzymes, But they are excellent at breaking down and tenderizing meat. This can also be used if you're digesting a lot of vegetable or lentil proteins, But works best on meat.

I consulted my doctor before I started to take them for inflammation, he told me I will be ok to take with the medication I'm on.They do help me .I take 2 a day.You get 180 capsules in this container, they are highly dosed.I can reccomend these but please ask your doctor before you start to take.Reasonably priced too.
