GIRL. you gotta get this product RIGHT NOW. this is NOT a paid review. I really wish I would have found this product sooner. I've tried Miss Jessie's (I like Pillow Soft Curls but the amount I need to use is ridiculous; and I hated the Jelly Curls product). I've tried Cantu (again, I liked it...at first. I found it started drying my hair out). I went most of my life just leaving regular people conditioner in my hair as a styler. But soon enough my curls started getting messed up due to my terrible treatment of them. There was barely any curl or life left when I found this wonderful miracle worker and I will NEVER, I mean NEVER look back!!! Baby this stuff smells AMAZING. AND IT IS SO MF MOISTURIZING!!!! Not to mention, do you see the CURL DEFINITION!? Do you understand that this pic was after ONE USE of this miraculous product? That my curls were near NONEXISTANT and then I put this stuff in and BOOOM baby I got ringlets again. GOOD SMELLING RINGLETS from GOOD HAIR INGREDIENTS. I MEAN CAN IT GET ANY BETTER?? I will buy this again and again and again and again. And I'll add another, better picture after a few weeks using this product because I'm pretty sure this is just the beginning of a beautiful new relationship blossoming between me and my hair.

EDITED REVIEW: The smell of this product is powerful, no doubt. If scents give you migraines, don't open this and inhale deeply. At first, I was put off with how strongly this smelled and it sat on my shelf for a month. Then, on a good day where my head felt fine, I decided to give it a try. This stuff is amazing at encouraging curls and it is very lightweight! It is now my go-to wintertime product and the smell fades when the product dries, so it's not a problem for me. For reference, I am type 2B-C, very low porosity, fine hair, with low density. I use about 1-2 tablespoons each time, scrunch a little bit, plop in a tshirt towel for an hour, then air dry the rest of the way and scrunch out the crunch. I think that it's possible that porosity and strand thickness have more to do with what stylers to use rather than texture, as there are many people with varied textures who love this product. It's definitely worth a try.

I have 4C curls, and unfortunately post havingcovid my hair has been extremely dry. I was able to use this product prior to having covid and now that my hair is finally able to retain moisture I'm able to use this product again. I love that it has hold and that it helps my curls to really have definition. I'm not a big fan of the scent, and because it is so thick, you can stretch it and make it go quite a bit. It is a bit pricey, but when I think about the value of my hair being healthy and having a product that actually works, I'll pay a few extra dollars. I only use this product from doing something like an event or I want my hair to look super cute, I don't use it every single day just because I'll probably use this bottle in a week, literally if I was to apply it daily. Okay maybe a week and a half. But I've had this bottle for a few months and again I use it only for special occasions when I want my hair to really pop. In regard to it serving its purpose, I give it a five. In regard toapplication, because it is so thick, you have to really squeeze if you use the nozzle, if you take the lid off it can probably come out a little bit quicker. As far as the cost, a I wish it wasn't as expensive, but again at the end of the day you get what you pay for... so in that respect I guess it is a pretty decent value.

I purchased this without knowing the formula changed from the original organic one. This firmula isn't lighter than the original organic one. My hair feels really soft after the newer one dried. It holds my 4C hair but the longevity of the hold is shorter lived than the original organic formula. The original organic formula definitely has a stronger hold and kept why wash n' go's fresh for 7 to 8 days without any real maintenance. The newer non organic formula has held up for 4 days. I do like that the hold is softer and my curls bounce. But the longevity of the hold is why I took two stars away. The consistency of the new formulation is smoother than the original organic one that is sticky. I love the original organic formula. I might try mixing them to see how it works. The original organic formulation from 2020 is still avaliable in stores. But for how long? I am not so sure. I'm on the fence with the 2024 formulation. I feel the original organic from 2020 is better for 4C hair.

Love this. Actually holds the curl and doesn’t feel hard. Keeps down frizz. Also the smell, I get compliments on all the time. Will always keep a bottle in my hair care routine.

A little goes a long way—seriously. I used way too much the first application and my hair got super oily, but after using just a pea-sized amount it worked wonders. It also smells AMAZING
