These ball joints ARE serviceable.
I read a lot of reviews stating these joints are not serviceable. Those reviews are wrong. There is not enough room between the ball joint and the cv joint for a standard grease Zerk to fit on top of the ball joint. These joints have a small indent in the top rim of the joint that accepts a needle fitting. You can see it the stock pic that is shown, it looks like a small silver button. Of course you purchase a needle adapter for a standard grease gun fitting right here on Amazon. So far these ball joints are great.

Fit and Finish Is Equal to OEM
Excellent Fit and value for money. I used standard hand tools to remove the old ball joint and a hand press to install this one. The lock ring and nut were supplied and fit as they should. This part exceeded expectations. I would by again.

Grease fitting touches the cv axle
This is a poor design on the Ram 1500. The grease fitting is too close to the CV axle, and it gets broken off the first time you hit a pothole.

Good Ball Joints
Easy instal into my Ram. I purchased a less expensive brand last year and paid the price... They wore out! MOOG has great reviews and used them in my ford in the past... If you have the right tools installation is not hard... Save yourself $$$$ and learn some mechanical skills do the repair yourself. Lots of info on youtube if you need it... Get MOOG, pay the money, save the time and hassle!

Truly a problem solver
I have this ball joint installed on the both OEM lower arms on a RAM 2010 with a lift kit and it's actually work great. The construction is very sturdy and it feel very strong and solid. The needle grease port is actually a good idea and design improvement considering the position, a standard zerk would have been prone to be ripped off. The zinc coated body should ensure good longevity without rusting. Installed in a breeze with a C press.
