Not a BOAT but a boat :)
Best darn thing about this boat... I don't got to Break Out Another Thousand! She just goes!Got to say though, I've used this in swamp waters and the sound and it handles the waves very good. Also didn't flip when an alligator hit the bottom of it. So it's a pretty sturdy Kayak.

Wonderful fishing kayak for a great price.
There were a lot of reviews on you tube and various Yak sites for this Lifetime Kayak. The general consensus seemed to be that it is a beginner novice kayak. I reviewed several dozen kayaks before ordering the Lifetime and overall the only advantage with a $750 - $1,000 vessel is a better seat and adjustable foot rests. I transitioned from a sit inside that I made very useable but it was lacking in many areas.I have had the new SOT Lifetime out 3 times to date. I generally fish in a river but tried it on the lake today to see how it works in waves and boat wakes. I couldn't be happier with its overall performance. Extremely stable, tracks straight, lightweight, fast enough for my needs and holds all my tackle and gear. The waves on the lake were not an issue at all on a windy day. On the river it does no feel to fragile to scrape over rocks and gravel. I tried standing up just to see if I could and it was stable enough to feel comfortable. If you want to pay more for a cool paint job, a heavier boat and a stadium adjustable seat go right ahead. Or get the no bells and whistles Lifetime Angler and upgrade it according to your personal needs. An anchor trolley, milk crate, cushion PFD and some additional rod holders and you've got an extremely functional fishing vessel. Besides it's more fun to customize and make it your own.

Best value to get on the water, relax and just fish
Best value for the money, you won’t be kayaking every day. If you do, buy a fancy one.

Great first kayak
These are great for fishing. Not too heavy and short enough to fit in my car trunk. They definitely don't track well though. I noticed this one will always go right when I stop which is annoying but it's not a $3000 kayak so can't expect much. Seat connector clip is poorly designed though. Just molded cheap plastic which can't handle my back weight and I'm not heavy. Completely bent out of slot while I was on a long trip in the wind and rain. I would rather they install the aluminum aftermarket and charge me the ten bucks extra- which I bought and if you purchase this kayak you MUST get!Seat is surprisingly comfortable but not fantastic. Rod holder works well but I may end up buying another one for a second rod. You'll need to buy cup inserts to store anything in the hold- they cost about $15 and should be included. 4 stars for the poor seat clips and all the plastic chips the manufacturer left inside - they left a lot the you will need to vacuum out yourself and it's a pain to get to.

Light weight and durable
Very nice Kayak. One person can easily move it in and out of water, no problem navigating in very shallow water (less than a foot) and choppy water. Seats are very comfortable and you won't have any problem sit on it for hours. You'll get wet so dress accordingly.
