Which coding language does the robot use?

My grandson is using the block oriented Scratch language.

Does the arduino uno come along with this product, or does it need to be purchased seperately? If it doesn't, what version of the product is supported

No, the other answers have replied your question, its based on Arduino, but not use a standard Arduino board, you need to purchase seperately. FOr mBot, we have two different versions： bluetooth and 2.4G.

Besides the assembly manua, is the " quick start menu" included in the kit?

Can someone please contrast the bluetooth version over the ir version? as a beginner, what should i be looking for?

Both the mBot and mBot with dongle use Bluetooth. f your devices is not compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 and up, mBot Blue with Dongle is recommended to you If you use cellphone or devices that support Bluetooth 4.0 and up, you can choose mBot.
