Madden NFL Football 3DS

I'll keep my review short. I had my eye on this game for awhile but noticed it had gotten mixed reviews. Once it had a price drop I purchased it. Honestly I really enjoy the 5 on 5 game. Far more than I would have expected. I know it's totally different from most madden experiences but I really enjoyed the simple fast paced action, and the music during the game was just a bonus. It is a bit hard to play normal mode as you can't see the whole width of the field. With the price drop it currently has I believe it was a great deal for the 5 on 5 mode alone. I recommend this game for any football fan. In case your wondering the 3D I don't even use while playing this. Doesn't give much depth honestly. The graphics are nice but not amazing (actually better than I expected). If you want a true Madden experience then wait for another version to be released.

Madden NFL Football for the 3DS is a great game for the 3DS. It consists of anything from classic 5 on 5 to full fledge season mode. The 3D quality of the game is spot on and presents the usual fun for any Madden game. The only issues I found were minor, but worth bringing up. Since I am a big Lions fan, the issues were found within the Lions section of the game, but could also be found in other teams. The first issue is that the logo was wrong. The new updated Lions logo was presented a couple years ago, but now it's back to old school? I like the new logo... Then secondly, the roster depth charts were wrong. The starting QB was the normal 3rd string QB while Stafford was sitting in the second string. Other then those two things, I haven't had any issues and have had a lot of fun with it. Definitely recommend to any football fans!!!

I ordered this product more than a month ago. I never opened it, but I gave a positive feedback because I assumed it was in the condition I ordered. It was a Cristmas gift and I didn't get time to open the box. I just opened it the other night and even though I had a problem, the vendor was very understandable. They issued me a 30% discount and everything was alright. I like what they said about a customer satisfaction being a priority to them. I decided to just keep the package and give to him after Christmas. He's only 7, so he won't notice the issue. Thanks for solving the issue. The product came quickly. I'm one who order only from previous vendors that are good to their customers and I will definitely order from Vesper International again!

I purchased this for my 6 yr old grandson - it isn't a regulation size football - it may have given the size in the description but I didn't notice it....it will be fine for his small hands but I was disappointed with it....he won't be

This is the only NFL licensed game for 3DS, and given EA's badly broken relationship with Nintendo, it's unlikely there will be another. The rosters are badly outdated by now, online play is nonexistent, options are few and player / team statistics are limited to win-loss record (with no franchise mode). But if you temper your expectations and just want an NFL game to play on the go, you could do worse. The game actually looks pretty good and plays well enough. The five-on-five player mode is ideal for short sessions. I wish EA cared enough to bring a worthy Madden port to 3DS, but sports games have generally sold poorly on the platform, so I won't hold my breath.

The graphics and gameplay are great especially for a handheld game, and the gameplay runs smooth as silk. It even has a funny little mini game style called 5 on 5 and even that was entertaining. The only thing lacking in this game though is that during season mode it doesn't keep track of your players statistics nor does it allow you to trade players. So just keep that in mind when purchasing this game.

I bought this game for my 6 year old son who is majorly into Football, especially NFL. He has been glued to this since the day I bought it. He absolutely loves it. It is not overly complicated where you can let the DS control most of the play calling if you want to. At the same time, it does give you some control to call the plays, design your own routes, etc. if you want to. I think you can learn this at your own pace. Of course this is not for the serious gamer (or an aspiring NFL OC) but is just right for 6-8 year old boy learning the game and having some fun.Definitely a must buy.

I bought this game for my 6 year old grandson who absoultely loves to play football. He truely loves this game and finds it pretty east to play. As with any game he plays - if he loses, he blames the game but in all reality this is a good game for him,. I would recommend this game for any football enthusiast.
