—this is your "just get me online fast and cheap" nano solution.
Don’t let the size fool you—this nano adapter gives you dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) with up to 650Mbps total bandwidth. It's plug-and-play on most Windows systems (especially Win 10/11), and drivers for macOS are available via download. Once installed, performance is stable for web browsing, YouTube, Zoom, and light file transfers.Perfect for:Upgrading an old desktop without opening itReplacing a dead internal laptop cardA plug-in option for Raspberry Pi or mini PCsKeeping in your EDC tech pouch for quick fixesWhat I Like:Tiny footprint—plug it in and forget itDual-band flexibility = escape 2.4GHz congestion with a 5GHz optionStable connection for everyday tasks—web, email, streamingWorks great for light gaming or Zoom calls, no dropouts in my testingWhat Could Be Better:Not ideal for heavy gaming or large file transfers—this isn’t WiFi 6Range is limited due to nano size—best within 15-25 feet of the routerNeeds driver install on older versions of Windows or macOS (not plug-and-play everywhere)

Compact and Reliable WiFi Upgrade
This WiFi adapter is a game changer! I needed something quick to get my older desktop online, and this little device worked like a charm. Setup was super easy—plug it in, follow the simple instructions, and you're good to go. I was online within minutes. The connection is stable and fast, especially on the 5GHz band. I’ve been streaming videos, downloading files, and browsing with zero hiccups. The small size is another bonus—it’s barely noticeable when plugged in, so no worries about accidentally bumping it.Tip: If you’re using this with Windows, make sure you download the drivers first for a smoother setup.Highly recommended if you need a quick, affordable WiFi solution!

Works fine with a MacBook!
I own a Late 2008 MacBook running OSX Yosemite. After 12 years of light to moderate use, the internal Airport wireless card finally went bad. While replacing the Airport card is certainly possible, it is a pretty involved process that carries a certain degree of risk. Instead of disassembling my Macbook, I looked around for an alternative solution. When I found the Cudy AC650 (model WU650), I was pretty excited. Basically, I was looking for a USB Wifi adapter that was Mac OS compatible, compact in design, and had a decent range. Also, at around $12.90, the Cudy seemed like a decent value, even if it wasn’t the cheapest. One thing I was a little disappointed in was that the Cudy adapter isn’t plug and play. You do have to install a driver in order to get up and running. It is also worth mentioning that there is an installation disc included, but it is a mini-CD which is too small to work in the MacBook’s slot loading DVD/CD disc drive (it’ll get stuck if you try). Therefore, you’ll have to download the driver from the Cudy website in order to get up and running. The driver did install pretty quickly and easily. I didn’t experience any problems there. After a quick reboot of the system, all I had to do was reconnect to my wifi network, and I was back up and running again. I have about the same range as before. I found that the connection speed was great. I had no trouble achieving between 390-433Mbps (the manufacture advertises 433Mbps @ 5GHz, so this was pretty spot on).One important thing to note is that this device is only a Wifi adapter. It doesn’t offer Bluetooth. So, if you are looking for a complete solution to replace a bad Apple Airport card, you’ll want something that supports both Wifi and Bluetooth. Otherwise, you’ll need to get a USB Bluetooth adapter as well (if you use Bluetooth devices).Overall, I’m pretty happy with this Wifi adapter. It does exactly what I need it to, and it was certainly cheaper, and easier, than reinstalling a new Wifi card in my old MacBook.

Cudy 650MB Wi-Fi adapter
I Really like this cuddy USB Wi-Fi adapter! It was & is a lifesaver. I can't say enough good about this Wi-Fi adapter. I bought a more expensive one that didn't have a driver disc which I needed. The other one said it did but then when I received it it said go online to download the driver.I ordered this less expensive one which came with the disc driver which is what I needed. I originally bought it for my older back up laptop that I had to roll back due to a failing drive. I couldn't regain my window license on the computer anymore and I lost my internet functionality. Anyways this saved me. Right in the nick of time to. I plugged this in and ran the disk driver in my older laptop and I had internet functionality again to where I could download Chrome and access Windows. I even upgraded my computer to 16 GB of RAM at the time and this adapter handled the added speed no problem. My computer was lightning fast. This adapter is very durable. Also it fits in flush almost in any device. I have never been out of Wi-Fi range. Fact it picks up Wi-Fi signals farther away then my other computers so. And I still works well in my laptop desktop type computer cooling station with USB ports as well. I can't say enough good about this product, honestly it's been great compact and beat the other larger more expensive ones out that I bought prior. Its a Great Buy & Great price point. Got my old reverted Windows 7 without a Wi-Fi signal back online to where I could download Chrome and finish the classes that was taking at the time, just in time actually.
