Gorreana Organic Black Tea Pekoe Loose Leaf 100gr - 1 unit

This is my new favorite tea. It is smooth and has no after taste. I discovered Gorreana when I visited the plantation in the Azores. I was shocked by the taste since it reminded me of the tea I loved as a kid: Red Rose. This is even better.I grew up in the US drinking Red Rose tea almost every day (and enjoying the little figurines). I was very disappointed when my local stores stopped carrying it. I found no good orange pekoe options- I found Lipton to have an inferior flavor and an after taste. This can be muted a little bit with some milk, but I find Lipton straight to be terrible.I have been buying Gorreana on Amazon since 2018 and enjoy it on a regular basis and enjoy the smooth flavor with and without milk (or sugar).

This tea is delicious! Like other reviewers, we tasted this directly at the plantation and were sold. I was so glad to find it on Amazon. Took a bit to ship to the US but well worth it. One of the best teas I’ve ever had. Fantastic flavor and no bitterness whatsoever. Will forever be a customer.

A nice tea from an island off of Portugal. Never knew it existed until a video on Food Insider. Interesting and fun to try. Taste is similar to a light Chinese black tea. Enjoyable.

We survive daily life on this tea! We've walked the grounds, and soaked up the views at the plantation. They don't need to use chemicals as there are no tea diseases on Sao Miguel. TRY IT!

Took forever to arrive, and when it did it was flattened.And lets say it arrived swiftly, and securely: That wouldn't positively affect the primary complaint... The tea is virtually tasteless.I ended up throwing most of it away.

I loved the documentry on Azores cooking! I tried a dish making creme bruelle with the o=broken leaf gorreana tea..I loved it..Im waiting on a response from the girls! However, this Black Tea is great! It did not fail my expectations..It was a pleasure.I didnt realize when you add milk to black tea it reduces the health benefits..something about the antioxidants.. I love the tea council website! I recommend this tea to anyone who likes a strong tea that doesnt make you shaky from caffeine..I think this tea would taste great in cooking..I wonder if anyone has any recipes?
