If you plan to store anything sharp in this DO NOT buy it. I wanted to put some woodworking chisels in it and of course mine are razor sharp. They push right through the material. If you are storing anything dull I am not sure why you would want something like this but go ahead, it will probably work fine for that.

poorly designed for storing chisels

I sympathize with Brad's review calling this roll junk, but 1 star is unfair at best.I bought this roll because it had a ton of pockets, a velcro strap, and a top flap which I'd been told is important for keeping tools from falling out. I've found all three of these attributes to be immeasurably useful in keeping my chisels and marking tools organized and when I upgrade in the future, having used this roll will help me make a more informed decision.That said, the exterior plastic is extremely cheap looking and feeling. The nylon of the actual roll is very thin and I've poked multiple holes with only a slight graze, and I'm very much looking forward to the day when I can upgrade to a real leather roll.At $15, this was all expected and acceptable. For someone who had never used a roll and wanted a cheap one to experiment with, this was an excellent product to use before pulling the trigger on a $90 heirloom roll made from Lie Nielsen's hand massaged buffalo hide.

Pocket Chisel held all 20 of my new open-ended with closed ratchet set.

Junk....the back is some type plastic and cracked in 18 degree weather
