For years I have been using a facial cleanser that had always been a special order direct from their company. It was the ONLY acne daily facial cleanser that has worked for my adult acne and sensitive skin. It started to get harder to find (out of stock) and more expensive, so I went on an "ingredient search". That is how I found this product (Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Scrub). I am very pleased with this find!! I have this on auto delivery now because it works just as good as the product I was using for the past 15 years, but for a fraction of the price!You may need to find yourself a good oil free moisturizer to use in conjunction with this because it can be drying...but that is the nature of the beast when you use Salicylic Acid (2%) on your face. It will control acne, and will minimize blackheads, and it will dry out your skin. Find a good moisturizer to go along with this product and I know you will be as pleased as I am.The only other small negative is the smell, but I can tell you that the product I used before smelled worse than this. If you want a product that smells awesome, this is not the cleanser for you! If you want one that will help clear and control your adult acne, then give it a try.

We have combo/oily skin so clogged pores, acne and blackheads are the enemy we fight to have smooth, clear skin. When you have teenagers with facial and body acne + me with mature acne, you go through a lot of product. This product's active ingredient is Salicylic Acid 2% which works well for us. This IS one of the best we've used. We even use it on the Wave with a cotton round pad.To use this product as a mask... 1st - cleanse skin with soap and water THEN use this scrub. Scrubbing and sudsing as usual, DON'T RINSE YET BUT leave it stay on your face for 15 minutes... get the timer, RELAX, listen to some music, close your eyes, whatever... THEN rinse with water thoroughly. Follow the remainder of your skin care plan. When we do this in the evening, we let the skin breath overnight ... no lotion etc.This Pink Grapefruit Acne Wash Scrub is refreshing, clears acne, prevents more breakouts and softens skin. I love that it's a multi-use acne product, the SUPER Size available at Amazon for less than fifteen bucks was a plus for us!NOTE: Just don't use too many acne products at the same time, they over dry and irritate your skin and for some that actually triggers MORE acne breakouts :(

If you combination skin, or breakout sometimes this is for you. I'm 54 and have combination skin, my Dr. gives me a RX face wash but it was to drying so I started using this one because you know exfoliate, often to remove dead skin. This product is so much better than the Aveeno scrub. put a very small in palm apply to skin, not to rough, on face gentle rub keep adding little drips of water and foams up beautiful. Leaving skin clean and poors look smaller, helps control oil. I love it I use this one my back sometimes I get a blemish and this helps heal that up. If you think of this wash as a expensive item from Macys not Walmart you will love it. I use twice a day. I strongly recommend it, If you have very sensitive or extremely dry skin, might not be for you. Try it you might like it. just keep moving your hands adding water and it turns into a great foam.

This is a really inexpensive and useful product. Smells sooooo good. It does a great job at cleansing and removing any dead skin; my skin was visibly softer after using it.I’ll add though, if you have sensitive skin to use it sparingly because it can feel a little too rough at times.

I'm somewhat puzzled at the poor reviews of this product. As a salicylic acid product, it's a good alternative to benzoic acid and won't bleach your cloths/bed like benzoic will. The granulated scrub is particularly good for my moderately oily skin and it has a pleasant scent as well. I've been using it for about 4 months now and my skin is no better or worse than my previous benzoic wash.This isn't a magic face wash, just something that cleans your skin well without drying it out. The only down side is the somewhat steep price (Amazon helps a little with that).Bonus: A girl I recently had overnight noticed the unfortunately pink bottle but rather expressed her excitement that she too uses the same wash. She likes it too...

Love this product! I’ve been using Neutrogena products since I was a teenager, and I am now 71. Obviously the product lines available have grown exponentially. There is one thing that concerns me, however, but it is a concern for all scrub products: the beads in them are plastic. I hope that a natural solution can be found so that we can stop adding plastic to our oceans.

Despite the fact that I don't have extremely bad skin this stuff works amazingly! I get a few pimples here and there and this stuff really helps to stop them from popping up!! It does leave the face rather dry but it's nothing that Neutrogena moisturizer can't cure! The only reason it made my skin dry is because my skin isn't oily at all... So this is a great product for people with oily skin and a great product for people with dry skin if they plan to use a moisturizer! BUY IT!! NOW!

This is a great buy for those with acne prone or oily skin. I have always been a faithful user of St. Ives Apricot face scrub,until I read an article that said that using scrubs with walnut extracts can be rough on your skin. So, I decided to try this grapefruit scrub, I love the way it smells, and while I still get the occasional pimple my skin feels cleaner and not so abused as with the Apricot scrub. Great price for a larger size then you find in stores.
