Much Prefer This Lite Consoleā¼ļø Sleek, Bright, & No TV Pairing Requiredā¼ļø
I absolutely love my Nintendo switch lite console!I purchased it here on Amazon as it was pretty much sold out elsewhere & amazon was the 1st retailer to have the full selection of colours back in stock, & at an unbeatable price. I am a regular Amazon customer, & as this was a 'bigger' buy, & was to be delivered, based on my experiences with my usual Amazon deliveries, I trusted Amazon to deliver this not only promptly (which was great, on next day prime delivery), but also safely. It arrived speedily, & was well packaged & fully boxed as brand new & unopened, as it should be. The console box includes the lite console itself, & also includes the official Nintendo mains charger, which I think is the ' C ' USB cable (not the standard mini USB, but the slightly wider one which is used to charge Samsung tablets & Samsung phones)((these wider charging cables can be easily purchased separately, here on Amazon, or in a number of high street shops)), so with the charger included, it just needs to be fully charged prior to its 1st use. This console was simple to set up, & connect to WiFi, - though WiFi is NOT needed, & with this lite console, it DOESNT require pairing with a TV either, like the regular Switch console does, as this is a HANDHELD console. I know that most do have WiFi nowadays, & downloadable games are available on this console, alike its regular console, however, still, not everyone has access to WiFi, so 1 huge advantage of this console is that it can be used without having to connect up to a TV or WiFi. The console itself is sleek & easy to hold, with a touchscreen, & it is all in one, - the two joycon controllers which are removable & replaceable on the regular switch, is completely built into this lite console as a whole, so is a good solid console. It also has a game card slot, for physical games, a micro SD card slot, and has a headphone jack too.I've owned both the regular switch console, as well as this lite console, & I have to say that I much prefer this lite console.I would deffo purchase again in future, & from here on Amazon, & I would deffo highly recommend šI hope you have found this review to be useful, š x

So cute!
Love this! Works well and better to have in bed than my regular switch. It's lighter in my hands and I can take it on the go with me. If you have wrist issues but still want a switch, I'd recommend the lite! The yellow version is so cute as well š«¶š»

Perfect for handheld!
Oh man I love this size of the Switch!I always felt the OG Switch was a bit too big for long periods of handheld gaming, which is how I play it 99% of the time. Also never liked the joycon flex feel on either side of the console. When you get a bit excited and tense while playing it felt like I would snap the controllers out ha.Honestly the hate for this for not having a TV out is not an issue for me, the lack of HD rumble is also not an issue. Unless the game Iām playing required rumble feedback as part of the game mechanics Iām not at all bothered. Many handheld consoles in the past managed without rumble. The console is well built and doesnāt feel cheap. The screen is nice and clear, it appears a little brighter than my OG Switch when both are at the same brightness setting. But screens do differ from one to another. No brightness sensor? Donāt care, I always manually adjust that myself anyway.Buttons! Another thing I donāt like on the OG Switch is the ABXY and the dpad buttons. Personally prefer the feel of a rubber pad squish, the Switch Lites ABXY, dpad, ZL and ZR all have a soft bump that feels similar to the buttons and dpad on a DS Lite. Oddly the L and R buttons are not the same feel as the ZL and ZR, but the same clicky feel as on the OG Switch. Perhaps thereās not enough space under there for a rubber pad?I personally would put this up there with the original PSP and DS Lite as my favourite handhelds to date so far. It is really down to personal preference but the Switch Lites size fits perfect for me.If you donāt care for TV out, rumble, or detachable controllers to play with friends because youāre a lone gamer like myself, I would recommend this over the non-Lite model. Itās also cheaper and for the price difference you can pick up an extra game or two!

Nintendo switch lite is comfortable to hold and big enough to see
Bought the switch lite for Mario kart and animal crossing and loving that it is nice and light. I bought it as Iām recovering at home from an op. It is keeping me occupied for hours without getting aching fingers or hands. I am actually having to stop to charge it. Iām 49 and also have a ps5 but love that I can pick the switch lite up and play even when the hubby is watching the telly.

Excellent value- perfect for my needs
Bought the lite after debating between it and the normal switch. In the end, I decided the features the normal switch would offer me just didn't justify the additional cost (for me personally- other people will think different).Arrived, well packaged. Opened it up and stuck it in to charge. Comes with about 65% battery already so didn't take long to charge. Setup was easy.Purchased animal crossing through the nintendo estore and it took approximately 45 minutes to download so not the quickest in terms of download speed ability but not the worst either.Lightweight, yet sturdy. Joysticks are smooth and easy to move.I did get a case to help hold it after reading reviews and would say getting the case is definitely worth the price and makes it easier to hold.Battery life seems decent enough, and charging speed is quick ish so definitely plus points.I would say this is an excellent purchase- well worth the money. I would say research both the lite and the standard version and decided what suits your gaming most. You can get additional joy cons for the lite for multiplayer modes but you are limited to the small screen. This isnt an issue for me personally but for anyone purchasing for families, I would say the standard version is probably going to be your preference.Looking forward to spend my time in lockdown playing this!
