This product has PERFECTLY solved the need I have for my mom's bathroom routine. She's only 5' tall so a seat riser with safety bars wouldn't work. The toilet is in a very narrow alcove so something with legs would also be difficult and make cleaning floors more of a chore. The product is of EXCELLENT quality and very simple to install! I was concerned because the price-point was so reasonable that the quality might be a concern. HEY... Occasionally, we consumers DO get more bang for our buck $$$. Thankyou, Carex : )

This was super easy to assemble and install. I installed two of these at my father’s apartment. And they work perfectly for him. He’s 89 years old and they give him the help that he needs to stand up. They are very sturdy and secure and he feels safe using them.

This was easy to install, and has a great help for my husband who is dealing with Parkinson's.

This seemed excellent, easy install. But then my Father-in-law with dementia, somehow popped the right one off the front of the toilet ledge and fell. Perhaps it might need something that folds over the edge of the toilet bowl for added stability. Or maybe it's just a fluke. I don't know.

This is perfect. Easy to assemble, sturdy. Doesn’t interfere with bidet, or take up very much room.

The item serves its intended purpose. Does not take up a lot of space. The only issue I have is that the bars can easily come loose if I’m not super careful about how I place my hands when getting up.

I fell an injured my hip which required surgery. My first surgery was in 2018 and I bot a portable toilet which was expensive, uncomfortable to sit on and a pain to empty after. I had my son carry it to the bathroom (it had a cover) then I emptied it! Unfortunately, I needed a second surgery this past April and decided to try this model instead and it works well for me. I like that the size is adjustable because I have a very small bathroom and I wasn't sure it would fit, but at the most narrow length it's fits perfect. When I say my bathroom is small it is so TINY that I can't imagine any bathroom where this wouldn't for. In the front the arms can be moved out of the way. This is good for cleaning the toilet and for the most part it is secure, but has slipped of the porcelain causing the arm fall down twice when I put weight one it. I'm strong enough that I didn't fall but if it was an elderly and/or frail person this might be dangerous. There wasn't any damage done to railing, and I always check that the arm is sitting securely on the toilet rim before I sit. The back part attaches to the back of the seat and has been securely attached with no sign of coming loose since it was installed two months ago. The arm rails are nicely padded which makes it more comfortable to push up on; especially in the beginning when I used mostly upper body strength to stand.
