Flexcut Quick Connect Palm Handle, 2" Ash Handle for Carving Blades, Edge Tools

I needed an extra handle for my flexcut carving tools. I like the wood better than the plastic.

Handles were too small causing them to feel uncomfortable.

I have the Quick Connect printmaking kit but hated the handle that came with it--it was too long and very uncomfortable for me to use. I tried some of the Flexcut palm style tools (without removable handles) and found that the shape and size suited me Much better, so I ordered this handle to replace the one that came with my Quick Connect set. It works so much better for me! The blades fit very tightly into the handle, which is good and bad. Good, because they're not going to come out accidentally and bad, because they can be tricky to remove when you want to change the blade. The might loosen up over time with use, but just be sure you are very careful when removing the blade from the handle.

I bought these to go with the Flexcut blades I have - with the somewhat larger plastic handles - hoping they would fit. They do!! So very happy to have these. I only had one handle before with 9 blades. I wear a medium glove and they fit perfectly in my palm. They have held up well after 6 months of constant use. The blades stay secure and don't have any wiggle room. But they are easy enough to exchange blades. I am so glad I got them (I bought 2) and will probably order a few more.

The description is wrong. The description states that it works for all flex cut blade attachments. It does not work for the RK series. I would’ve bought it if I knew this, I would’ve returned it if it cost more than $16.

I would like to say: If you are not buying tools directly from Flexcut, I would always buy from Hartville. Free shipping for items of the same quality. These are more comfortable than the plastic ABS adapter. I highly recommend getting at least one of these to decide your preference. The bits can be tough to fit all the way in. Hold the bit and hit the handle with your palm to fit the bit in.

Handle is well made but was a little small for my preference. Traded with a lady carver as she liked this size handle.

Works as it should. Comfortable. I assume extended usage will loosen the holding grip but that will be normal. WIll buy again if and when that occurs.
